    FRANK THOMAS

Frank should be on the team. He is hitting great in the clutch. How many more chances will he have to be on an All Star Team? Plus the game is in his home park!
  2. I would not trade Konerko. He will come back if given the chance. Remember there were alot of people ready to get rid of Frank.
  3. My guess is Jiminez will be sent down.
  4. Fire JM now while we still have a chance to salvage the season. Hire someone with some energy and some fire!
  5. I think Miguel Olivo will catch at least 5 days a week with Alomar catching the other 2 days. I also don't see Paul making the team.
  6. Frank has hit 3rd the majority of his career with great sucess. He should continue to hit in the 3rd slot as long as he produces, especially if he gets his walk total back up to over 100 again like he did for years.
  7. Nice article and very informative. Good job.
  8. Koch is defintely the closer. He has the experience and has proven to be one of the best in baseball. Marte pitched very well last year, but he still needs to prove it was not a fluke. He should be a great setup man and will be especially tough on left handed hitters.
  9. Anyone who wishes permanent injury on anybody is a total jerk.
  10. I think 95 games will be needed to win the division, so I will go with 95!
  11. His early arrival just further proves he is on a mission this year. Opposing pitchers beware!
  12. Wunsch and Marte defintely giive the White Sox a strong left handed presence in the bullpen. Here is hoping Kelly is over his injuries and returns to form. Marte can flat bring it.
  13. I believe Colon will win more games. I think he will be allowed to go deeper into games then Buerhle. They defintely both have a chance to win 20+ games.
  14. Thomas is the key. If he can hit close to what he did during his great years, the entire lineup will respond.
  15. Make it this year. I would like to see them make it one more time in my lifetime.
  16. Being he was out of baseball last year, I wonder how much he has left. He defintely would be good as a mentor for a young pitching staff.
  17. Frank has something to prove this year. He wants to show everyone (and himself) that he is not on the decline. I look for him to have a big year.
  18. If I had to pick one it would be d'angelo jimenez. He has a lot of pressure on him. He has to hit and be our lead off man, plus he has to play 2nd base and turn double plays.
  19. I agree Ricky has never been a good or even decent outfielder.
  20. I think Olivo will be just fine. He just needs to learn to call a good game and play good defense. Any hitting he does will be a bonus.
  21. Interesting thought he was a good lead off hitter at one time and we defintely need a leadoff hitter. However he was a pretty bad 2nd for the Yanks the last 2 years he played the position. He still might be worth a chance. He could play a little 2B,OF,DH, pinch hit and pinch run.
