dont know too much bout itunes/ipods but know you can rip tracks on a cd in musicmatch to your hard drive as of course mp3s. open up musicmatch (free version on net to download if ya dont have it) and then open the recorder. pop in your cd should come up in the recorder with each track listed and just click record...

one of the many pieces of worthless info ive picked up. iirc it was from like a 2020 thing or something a long time ago about the dude that created them and others (believe he also put together nsync and the boy band made from the making the band tv show) and how he had a "mold" of exactly which guys to put into the group designed to make the most money...
