  1. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ May 23, 2006 -> 01:29 AM) I was expecting Kochman to turn things around this year, but I think he needs a change of scenery. Yea I can really see that happening even though I don't like judging a man who has only 321 career ab's and only 79 this season. The only thing I will say that's dissapointed me about Casey is his lack of power. He did shows signs last season in only 126 abs with 7 hr's and I've always liked his plate disapline. Man when you talk about a guy who could be traded and then be on the Angels "worst trades in history" (depending on who they get) its Kotchman.
  2. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ May 23, 2006 -> 01:14 AM) Thats just a sign that despite your baseball knowledge, you just aren't meant to drive or own a car That's crazy cause I can't drive or own a car for a long time.. (DUI-21)
  3. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ May 23, 2006 -> 01:10 AM) Kochman needs to be dealt somewhere else (Let Morales play 1st). Kotchman is really good. I mean REALLY good. If he gets dealt, he better be in the NL. The Angels really should be patient with Casey. Morales is a stud too (not sure if he's better defensively than Kotchman you would know better Jas) but I really like Kotchman's upside. QUOTE(Heads22 @ May 23, 2006 -> 01:22 AM) On a side note, my dad and I are looking at hitting up a Dodgers-Ywins game in late June. That's should be fun. I bet it will be assuming you nor him have ever heard of a "Ywin."
  4. Pistons-Mavs I'll even take it a step further Finals Mavs in 6. Dirk MVP.
  5. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ May 23, 2006 -> 01:11 AM) And really he could be another Pau Gasol when ya think about it. Hell, he has the potential to be the next Dirk Nowitzki with better defense. The only true knock on him is that he's not very strong (might be alittle more of a weak rebonder than Dirk) and that he plays in Italy (still new to the game and European players can be really solid or really awful so it's a major risk.) I'll take a Pau Gasol game from him any friggin day of the week. EDIT: I hate using the word potential. It's really an ugly word.
  6. Error: Empty entry list..
  7. QUOTE(Heads22 @ May 22, 2006 -> 11:27 PM) Jake Peavy with 16 K in 7 innings, in line to get the loss. Braves reliever Ken Ray (of the sub 2 ERA) was a starter for Winston-Salem two years ago. Peavy PWNed the Braves today. And I will never forget Ray. This is the same man who struck out Bonds on three straight pitches that had a TON of movement (I've never seen Bonds strike out on three pitches [the same 3 pitches at that])
  8. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ May 23, 2006 -> 12:39 AM) No Thomas. Love the other two though. :headshake
  9. Sounds like we had a good game (I missed it.. )
  10. I love Aldridge even though Tyrus Thomas is a friggin S-T-U-D. God I hope when I get home tomorrow from work that I get to hear/watch the results. BTW, I would not be mad at the Bulls taking Thomas or Aldridge or even Roy.
  11. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ May 21, 2006 -> 05:00 PM) I'm definitely pulling for Miami in the East. Ugh.. No matter how much I hate Detroit, I hate Gary Payton that much more. I love Wade, the Deisel even A. Walker, but I hate Gary Payton with a passion. I just don't want that man winning a championship. The best case senario I would like to see is Pistons-Mavs. Mavs in 4 of course..
  12. QUOTE(Kalapse @ May 22, 2006 -> 12:06 AM) And yet you listen/listened to Linkin Park one of the most overrated and annoying bands I've ever heard. Hmm . . . Touche... And I guess me and Brandon McCarthy are very annoying then..
  13. QUOTE(Kalapse @ May 21, 2006 -> 11:46 PM) The Whopper family s*** is incredibly f***ing annoying. I don't need giant annoying cheeseburgers talking to me. And yet you have Rancid (one of the most annoying bands I've ever heard) in your sig.. You are a very odd creature.
  14. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ May 21, 2006 -> 11:47 PM) His era skyrocked after that horrendous performance. Up to an awful 1.90.
  15. The only person that I feel sorry for the most is Count. He was charged with 4 earned and we all know that he pitched WAY better than his final stats indicate. Of course that's how baseball is and I will continue to love this game.
  16. I take it you saw Family Guy today...?
  17. QUOTE(YASNY @ May 21, 2006 -> 10:46 PM) Take another look at that play. Mack underestimated the length of the drive and had to adjust his route to the ball, which prevented him from getting there. Anderson puts it in his hip pocket. He wouldn't have gotten there Yas, I've looked at it plenty of times myself. He probably would had made it closer, maybe even knock the ball down to prevent another runner from going into scoring position, but he wouldn't have made that play.
  18. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ May 21, 2006 -> 10:43 PM) Mack actually got a really good jump on that ball, I don't think Brian would have got to it either. Agreed 100%. BA is better defensively, but seeing how that ball was slicing in that replay, no way BA would had gotten it, he would have just made it a closer play.
  19. Count was on what 95+ pitches maybe over 100? He was just off the DL I don't want him aggravating his hip/back/whatever it was. We need him in the long run. I only question why Pollite wasn't in to face Barrett (which Ozzie also said later) Other than that, you can't blame what happen. And Cotts DID get the job done but just a misplay by Uribe opened the flood gates. That's baseball.
  20. I actually thought from this thread that it was you that actually made that sign..
  21. He pissed me off too. If you can't do it with the bat, do it with the glove at least. That's why I haven't been on BA's case like alot of posters haven been (as a matter of fact I've been one of the few backers of the rookie, always liked him as a player) Uribe is just not getting it done right now. Maybe Ozzie should do the same thing he did with BA to Uribe and bench him for a couple games to get his head on straight.
  22. I will definitely stand up and cheer my lungs out (even though I sold my ticket and will be going to work tomorrow).. but when I get home, I will see the replay of the game and do so.. I've already told my friend(s) to cheer loud as hell for the best sox player in history, and like Ozzie said, I will be embarased as hell if alot of my fellow sox fans boo Frank Thomas.
  23. Rich Hill "It was a dirty play." Konerko "I think he should look at the replay." Ozzie before the postgame "Who's Rich Hill?"
  24. I can understand. BA is young, so when he sees a fight, like any youngster (like me) you better believe he's jumpin in it. The weird thing about this whole thing is that AJ and Barrett knew each other since high school and are good friends. Barrett just was really out of line of that play. BTW, every time I see that clip of a 23 year old BA PWNing a 38 year old Mabry who had 0 chance at all I just LMFAO.
