:rolly Like I kept saying good bat to have off the bench. Which means to fill in a role for a tired player, or to give a starter the day off. Hell, some of those pinch hit at bats might be cause he moves the runner along or even if he makes outs, I'm sure some (if not most) are from the bases empty and i don't go by his previous seasons. If thats the case then Uribe should be mediocre and Loaiza shouldn't even had landed here.

I'm not that big of a fan of Timos but I like him cause he's unique (in his own way of style of cathing the ball) he's clutch and hardly K's. 3 lefty bats, (assuming there's a new 2nd baseman) 1 right handed stick and a switch hitter isn't that bad at all to have. It also depends if were signing a platoon like player or a fulltime guy. But thats just me.

We have about 4 (maybe 5) guys in our line-up that can steal 20+ bases (2 or 3 could steal 40+) at will. If they can get in scoring position that many times, I think the sox will be a fun team to watch in the 2005 season.

Today will mark Ace's one year anniversary on soxtalk. I was actually surprised I was included on the soxtalk ROY since I don't really feel like one. I've been around on this board around 2 years and I've been a part of this board for 1 year. It's had it's ups and downs and it's name change (cause damn Kenny had to trade away my favorite spect ) but soxtalk is a pretty good community. Here's to it.
