It's ok if you feel that person's opinion is not very good, but don't assume he's smoking a crack pipe or is mentally retarded. That's very disrespectful. It's ok if you mean as sarcasm (state it in green ) but not as an actual statement.
Excately. There are still a ton of players in the league that are still putting up very good, if not, decent numbers past their prime. No, Thomas is not going to put up sick numbers like Bonds, but he can definitely give you 25-30 hrs. 260-280 avg. (higher if he wanted to lower his homer totals) and 100+ rbis. Some young players couldn't even sniff his average/homerun production. I hope he stays a Whitesock forever and gets into the hall wearing the black and white.
The minors really don't mean s***. You could be a .600 hitter in AAA and suck in the majors. (I'm telling you this before Steff jumps all over you for saying that ) Willie is really a AAAA hitter. Hopefully he can get adjusted to major league hitting which I think he is. He was hitting some line drives in the outfield this year. Unfortunitely it was right to the outfielders. He can hit the pitching, he just needs to find those gaps and go for them. He'll be a hellofa hitter this year if he can get on base with good, solid hits.
