Well... our 1st game starts tom. in like below 40 degree weather. I'm alittle nervous , but I pumped as well!! I'm the lefty hitting, right fielding 2nd baseman with the # 15 (the 1 represents me and my best year in baseball, and the 5 represents my little brother who has been good with that # and pitched with it for 2 straight seasons.) I'm glad I got the number. I hope I bat leadoff like in some practices. I'm hoping for the best out of my team. Wish Us luck!!!!!

Good And Bad For Grilli

Hell, not even the starting pitchers got help from their fielders. I believe our defense cost us a couple spring training games as well. But most of them were from the players who won't make it to the bigs this season anywayz.

It seems like they like what they saw in Campos dispite that rough outing. Hopefully that kid gets it together cause they are going to be scouting him.

I'd rather see Cotts get the 5th spot, but we can't get what we want.. I don't have much confidence in Danny [hit my home run pitches] Wrong eigher. (that and I never really liked him or Rauch ) But we'll see what he does in his first couple starts first then we can see if he's still the answer.

I'd do it but eigher just giving up Rauch or Stewart, not both. I'm sure Coop could really help Benson find that hidden potential that he knows he has and perform better. Hell, I'd give up Danny Wrong straight up for Benson.

Gload is going to be a huge boost off the bench this year. Hopefully he can come up with the key hits as well when we really need him. Sweeney, which I believe, can actually hold his own in the big leagues now. The guy has done nothing but cream the ball. The sox will develop him more, but he has shown now that he can hit big league pitching.

That is saying something especially from Bonds who has an unbelievable eye at the plate. I'm sure Shingo will be nasty this year.

Amen! And what's so impressive about them is that they are all left-handed!! That's a triple combo of good hitters for many years in the sox organization.

I'm sure Neal will be up in the bigs by this year, if something happens with one of our starters.

Damn that scared me. I thought when I first read this topic, is that he was done for the season. This is bad for Joe but at least he'll be getting more at-bats in Charlotte.
