  1. Because SS was never a weakness.

I was quoting his post, not his lineup. I didn't even notice that until @Jose Abreu brought it up anyways.
  3. SS has always been manned by Timmy lol. He isn't a new player coming in like the other 2.

I am not having my best player hit 5th in the batting order.

Don't want a guy who is on record saying he hates leading off to lead off. Moncada himself said he likes to see what the opposing pitcher throws so he can better prepare in his ABs.
  6. Neither of those guys have the talent of Diaz not to mention the youth factor. Sox bullpen was ranked 28th in strikeouts last season. Diaz would solve alot of those issues in spades. Now having said that, if the Sox feel Hamilton/Burdi/Johnson etc. can be an X-factor down the line, then that's another story. Those guys do have elite stuff.
  7. Knowing how the Sox operate, one of these Wednesdays.
  8. You are nuts. I would be all over a Diaz deal. Now I agree with you that I'm not trading premium talent but if they ask for Stiever for him (for example), I'd probably do it. Edwin is still only 25 (will be 26 in March) and still has 3 years of control left.

Mitch Garver lead off quite a bit for the Twins and had pretty good numbers in that spot to boot. Not saying I would necessarily do that but it isn't some farfetched idea either.
  10. Her and Rodman was well known in the 90s.
  11. Robinson finishes 2 catches shy of 100 on the season.. fantastic season by him.
  12. Baltimore catchers are terrible as a whole in pitch framing. I saw Givens got a bunch of calls go against him last season.
  13. Considering they need to give Raiders a worse pick as they can, I'll take it.
  14. I don't think the Sox are interested in a one year (potential) stop gap either and this isn't even counting the cancer rumors.
  15. Personally I doubt he'll be here in that short of time. People forget Madrigal's numbers in AAA were solid but that last game of the season when he went 5-5 kinda skewed his overall stats. I think he'll need a bit more time than 2 weeks. Now Robert on the other hand is a different case. Plus Frazier does play the OF too FYI.
  16. Frazier would be a very nice get to hold down the fort till Madrigal arrives.
  17. Haha he shot that down real quick.
  18. Abreu is up there too with the dumb (mostly his baserunning). It's still hard to really evaluate until this offseason is over. Still need a couple of more pieces (namely the bullpen). Might push the total up a tad bit depending on who the Sox get.
  19. Agreed about the D. I'll say around 81-83 wins cause of Ricky's incompetence (I'm on record in saying he's going to be the weak link for this team).
  20. I trust Hector in regards to the Dominican players. Cubans, not so much.
