  1. So the Patriots got busted cheating. Where have I heard that before?
  2. From what I read around, they don't like that he's filing a grievance and feel he's too "entitled". So I guess there's that.
  3. Yea that was a great tank job by the Giants there. But good lord are the Eagles bad.
  4. Can we pretend those are protein shakes?
  5. Taijuan Walker would be an interesting buy low candidate. Very good spin rate numbers in the small sample size (18-19). I hope Sox take a look at him as a guy who can compete for a spot as a #5 or so (can never have enough pitching depth).
  6. Eagles losing to the Giants?! God that division really is terrible.
  7. He is not nearly as pessimistic as you make him seem at times Dirty (not like the old fathom).
  8. I hope they have to throw in Gore + another elite prospect(s) or something just to get rid of him.
  9. Fantastic thread title Ronald. Well done!
  10. LaRoche did actually. It was much longer than that. He trimmed it just enough. And Kopech already acknowledged the rule on Twitter after he was traded a couple of years ago. Reinsdorf's rule is well known (not as strict as the Yankees but it's definitely a rule).
  11. I thought that was Avisail Garcia's job?
  12. Gonna be an interesting battle between both of them.
  13. Well... good for Stras and his family.
  14. Honestly I don't mind. Much prefer Joc even if a deal isn't as likely right now. Or even Castellanos cause of the bat (also may not be as likely cause of Boras but you get the point).
  15. Same but I've always been higher on Dalquist personally.
  16. Quick question Ray. Of those two personally, which one would you prefer the Sox get. Castellanos or Ozuna?
  17. I already acknowledged the injury concerns. I think his main problem was all mental personally. Dude is/was just a mental midget IMO. I don't think he'll be as outstanding as his second half numbers either but he won't be as bad as his first half either, so somewhere in the middle. Darvish still has elite spin rate numbers, his velocity numbers are still there and his hard hit numbers are okay (you could argue he should probably use his four seamer more). This isn't even accounting for the Cubs potentially taking on some money (won't be much obviously) just to get rid of a contract and they need to get rid of quite a few. Again the injury concerns are justified, but you could certainly do worse. Btw, I'm not acknowledging that I want Darvish here FYI.
  18. Look at his second half numbers... he definitely figured something out. Plus I think now he'll be even better with the Astros stuff coming out. You can tell that World Series was in his head for quite some time. Only thing that can stop Darvish potentially is injuries.
  19. 4-5 years ago? Absolutely. He's been injury prone ever since (usually it takes a while to have that label but when you are years in with injuries now... it's justified).
