  1. Wilkins Grand Slam. Definitely has one of the sweetest swings in our farm system that's for sure. Also keep an eye on Luis Martinez. Interesting looking pitching prospect
  2. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Jul 21, 2014 -> 08:31 PM) Frank Thomas, C-grade prospect: http://scouts.baseballhall.org/report?repo...yerid=thomafr04 Hopefully he can hit over .250 I thought his arm grade/report was even more hilarious.
  3. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jul 21, 2014 -> 09:58 PM) Going off of Hawks record as a GM, I would go with what FutureSox saids. I don't agree with some of future sox stuff (sans Jeff and Dan views on spects most of the time) but I definitely agree with this statement.
  4. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Jul 21, 2014 -> 09:45 PM) He did not get 2 LH out in a row ever with the Sox. That's probably because Robin was using him against righties in between
  5. QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Jul 21, 2014 -> 11:01 AM) Matt Davidson Definitely. Also Jordan Guerrero for personal favorite sleeper in the system reasons.
  6. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jul 21, 2014 -> 04:13 PM) Oh that is so great Row.
  7. QUOTE (LDF @ Jul 20, 2014 -> 10:01 PM) if rodon was dafted ahead of aiken and he was avail when the sox pick, I believes that the sox will be tempted to draft him. remember with the sox drafting, they want someone who can be major league ready Its a safe bet. Aiken was Cooper's favorite prospect in the draft. If you want to believe the reports, Rodon and Aiken were both 1-2 on the sox board. (and not necessarily in that order)
  8. QUOTE (JoshPR @ Jul 19, 2014 -> 09:08 PM) Lexi brutal batting 2nd Yea we are better off having Beckham's 0-for still hitting there.
  9. QUOTE (scs787 @ Jul 17, 2014 -> 02:15 PM) His first 11 starts last year were pretty fun..... One of the main reasons we were able to get a top 3 pick. (Rodon) Got nothing bad to say about Dylan. Kudos to him for even making the majors.
  10. Mike Trout MVP.. well deserved. He or Cabrera should of won it anyways. Thank god they didn't give it to Jeter.
  11. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jul 15, 2014 -> 09:18 AM) I think he would have killed somebody in the stands. Fixed.
  12. QUOTE (Charlie Haeger's Knuckles @ Jul 15, 2014 -> 08:37 AM) Even so... if the trade was Reed+Santiago for Eaton, I am sure the Sox would still make that trade... hindsight is 20/20. I was pretty cheesed off when they traded Santiago, but now I'm all like "ya I'm just some dumb fan". I don't think anyone is arguing that (well.. maybe except Jon) and you weren't the only one with Santiago. It's just a personal peeve of mine. It's bad enough Melton and even Hawk has said it.
  13. I thought it was my phone at first. yea not a fan.
  14. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Jul 15, 2014 -> 08:00 AM) You cannot be serious. A dozen more wins? You think with Reed here, and no Eaton, this team would have been 15 or more games above .500? Jesus, is there still people who think we got Eaton for Reed? I mean I know Davidson has had a rough year, but geez.
  15. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jul 13, 2014 -> 08:18 PM) Hinrich's getting 2 years and $5.5 million. $2.73 million per year with option for the second year. Meh. Just can't get rid of him. One of my least favorite bulls of the past decade is back. Good... god.. just awful.
  16. Jaye still having trouble with AA hitting. The jump from A+ is a big one for a hitter and/or pitcher. Hopefully he figures it out.
  17. QUOTE (thxfrthmmrs @ Jul 12, 2014 -> 12:36 PM) Let's move on to Lance Stephenson. I don't think there is much of a market for him at this point, so maybe we can sign both him and Gasol and still come away a stronger team. He's too athletic. Our FO frowns upon that.
  18. If true with Sanchez, sox baseball is about to get more exciting watching this kid hit.
  19. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jul 11, 2014 -> 12:01 AM) I'm still trying to figure out how Sale didn't make it originally. He's one of the top 2-3 pitchers in all of baseball. Weird. And yet, he isn't an Ace in your eyes..
  20. QUOTE (TRU @ Jul 9, 2014 -> 09:40 PM) Youre so off base here its ridiculous. LeBron, Love, and Kyrie will have a better supporting cast than the heat had and they would get to the finals with ease. If its Wiggins, LeBron, and Kyrie I still would put them as favorites, but not auto. Absolutely. I think people are sleeping on Kyrie. By far the best PG LeBron will ever play with if he does go there. Not auto favs, but special talents like James get the best out of people. Plus he's learned quite a bit from Riley defensively. Cavs are set with their youth. James did promise Cleveland a title... maybe he wasn't going back on his word afterall.
  21. I wanted Sale to face one more batter. Was shaking my head when he was taken out, but Petricka should have did his job.
  22. Hey Sale might still get the win! Nice job Javy.
