Kid hasn't pitched one game in AAA yet and people are already wanting to slide him into our rotation in a pennant race (70+ pitches, 70-80 innings be damned) while the sox said all along they want to protect his arm since he pitched alot of stressful innings in college. (still has it, but more-so needs to get by with craftiness ala Nash) He is definitely worth the vet minimum though. Paying him say.. Kyle Korver money wouldn't be wise unless it was for a short term deal. (1.. 2 years tops) I might prefer a guy like C.J. Watson, maybe Keyon Dooling (though that is if worse comes to worst, or if the Bulls prefer a veteran backup), but Livingston might be the better fit. I just hope Rose doesn't get too burned out played 38+ minutes a night or I hope Shaun really is back capable of playing at least 13-15 minutes a night.
