  1. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Jul 8, 2010 -> 03:07 PM) Sox starters over last 5 games..... 30 2/3 IP, 18 H, 4 ER, 5 BB, 19 K, 0.91 ERA, 0.75 WHIP, 3.80 K/BB Sox are 5-0 over that stretch. What about the 22-5 run Joe?
  2. QUOTE (TitoMB @ Jul 8, 2010 -> 03:00 PM) And props to Ervin Santana with his CG, 3 hit gem. This. Both pitchers were amazing today. Very tought loss for Santana but hey somehow has to take it. Better him than Jhonny.
  3. No more trade talks of a 25 year old guy who IMO is the best pitcher/ace on our staff even before this performance.. please.
  4. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jul 8, 2010 -> 01:52 PM) I'll take Boozer over Amar'e, honestly. You won't get an argument from me. For a big guy, Amar'e can't board to save his life (though he's better in the playoffs) and has played with Nash damn near his whole career. (Boozer was already a solid player before Deron Williams came into the league and became Deron Williams) Also he is the worst overall defender between the two IMO.
  5. DANKS!!! MASTERFUL PERFORMANCE!
  6. Wow Vizquel making up for that error. Danks might save the bullpen today.
  7. QUOTE (ZoomSlowik @ Jul 8, 2010 -> 02:41 PM) Also, any expert in the league will tell you that Bosh is a better player, and that Boozer isn't even a top-5 player at his position. Other than Bosh, Dirk, Amar'e and Gasol name me one more that is better than Boozer. Not trying to prove anything, but I'm drawing a blank off the top of my head since Duncan played center last season (unless you want to still count him as a power forward) Garnett is declining and Aldridge isn't there yet.
  8. My goodness Danks.. 8 IP 2 H 0 R 0 ER 0 BB 6 SO.
  9. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jul 8, 2010 -> 02:38 PM) K.C Johnson KCJHoop Jazz will sign-and-trade Boozer to Bulls. Bulls get protected 2nd-round pick. Jazz get trade exception. Does this mean Booz gets his 6th year and more $?
  10. I still think he would want to play for the team he grew up rooting for. But then again, Wade played us and he grew up here. Still though, I think we will be the final 3 teams along with Cleveland and Miami IMO.
  11. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jul 8, 2010 -> 01:22 PM) f*** you, Reggie Willits! I still can't believe you are white Now this is hilarious.
  12. Danks is a f***ing bulldog!
  13. Chicago must have really bombed their presentation if Chicago isn't in his top 3. I think he'll do that tonight, narrow it down to three teams and pick from there.
  14. It's sad that him and Konerko are the offense this season.
  15. What the hell is up with our defense lately. 6 errors in 2 games.
  16. QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Jul 8, 2010 -> 12:27 PM) I'd bet there are people that still wouldn't do it. Your looking at one of them. (more-so looking farther ahead as well)
  17. I don't understand why teams just don't walk Konerko and go after Kotsay/Jones/whomever is hitting 5th that day.
  18. I wonder if this thread will reach 350+ pages BEFORE 8 pm.
  19. QUOTE (WHarris1 @ Jul 8, 2010 -> 12:01 PM) I REMAIN THE ONLY ONE WITH WITH STRONG HOPE (and rowand). Believe people Hey I was the first one who predicted he is ours. With that said I'll say it is Us, Cleveland or Miami. Knicks and Nets are 4th and 5th on his list.
  20. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Jul 8, 2010 -> 12:53 PM) It actually read "a source of mine." Well I edited it just in case some douche would pretty much post the identical thing mentioned but "worded differently."
  21. I stopped reading when that article said "source of mine."
  22. QUOTE (MurcieOne @ Jul 8, 2010 -> 12:39 PM) I'd say what I think . . . but then you'd get mad and tell me to remove my avatar. His posting rep is at stake. If LeBron goes to Miami, Steve is screwed anyways.
  23. You will fall in love with Lillibridge once again... oh yes... you will fall in love again.
  24. QUOTE (Kalapse @ Jul 8, 2010 -> 12:33 AM) Think about just how little sense Jones makes: He's under team control for FIVE more years after this season, yeah that's right, not a typo FIVE. He's super cheap so the Pirates have little incentive to trade him unless they get overwhelmed, that 5 years of control adds to this value. He's wildly inconsistent: since May 1st he's touched an .800 OPS 5 times but can't keep it up there over an extended period of time. In May his OPS range was nearly .100, in June it was .067. His power is also inconsistent, going weeks between HR, he's currently on a 20 game HR drought. We definitely need more of a sure thing than Garrett Jones (the man with the .340 wOBA that looked like a career minor leaguer until last season) and I'm not sold at all on his cheap price tag. You and your hate-o-rade post have become unbearable to read lately.
