Insanity
Insanity workout It's pretty much exactly like P90X. Only your not spending money on pull up bars, yoga mats, weights, etc.. your using your only body as the weight and your also plateauing in 60 days. Same with the nutrition plan, etc.. Pretty incredible workout I'm looking at, not to mention saving a lot of money.

Workout Tips & Tricks
QUOTE (Sonik22 @ Feb 10, 2010 -> 03:26 PM) I've heard that to gain muscle size the best way is to do your 1st set at 10 reps, add 5 lbs do the 2nd at 8 reps, and add 5 lbs again and do the 3rd at 6 reps. Make the last set to failure. This way you're telling your muscles that they need to grow. I've been doing this for about 3 weeks now and I've already seen a difference in size and strength. I think I'll be sticking with this workout technique. What if you only have dumb-bells and no weights? Highest amount of weight I got is 10 lbs. I usually do pushups (usually a couple sets) then up it by 10 every 2 weeks.

Relationship Advice Thread
QUOTE (lostfan @ Feb 10, 2010 -> 12:57 PM) Girls really, really like it when you make them feel sexy and give them positive attention (not to the point of being a "simp" or looking like a p**** though... it's a general rule that doesn't have that many exceptions). If you can pull this off you can get away with saying pretty much anything (within reason). "So when you gonna let me hit it?"

Help me get myself correct
QUOTE (iamshack @ Feb 9, 2010 -> 08:10 PM) Nice work man. Keep it up. Maybe when you become a real man you can come into the P90X thread... Or... if I ever get a job again.. Believe me I wanted to do it since the beginning... but I'm too broke to afford it.

I would say the Indiana coach cost them the game. How he didn't put in T.J. Ford and Troy Murphy down the stretch when they were torching the Bulls all game is beyond me.

Help me get myself correct
Started working out 3 weeks ago. I've done alittle of Flash's idea which helped and alittle of my own. So far... even the family has seen results. Gonna do one more month before I show off.

QUOTE (SHIPPS @ Feb 9, 2010 -> 02:10 PM) why doesnt a girl just write that book and be a billionaire then? Because they dont even know what the f*** they are thinking. Because even if she/they wrote the book, men would still never understand it. Thats just the way of life.

Still hoping Stan will somehow net Price or Halak (esp. Price). Get your franchise goalie in the picture. (unless he's too costly) There is a rumor also that the Hawks might bring Wiz back for Cam Barker.

Super Bowl XLIV
QUOTE (SoxAce @ Feb 5, 2010 -> 03:00 PM) Rooting for the Saints, but I got money on the Colts on this one. So I'll probably "hope" the Colts win cause I don't wanna lose money, but I would not be mad if the Saints won. I don't think I've ever been happier losing money. Very happy the Saints pulled off that win. Good game to watch (though it wasn't the offensive explosion I hoped for) but congrats to the Saints. Other than perhaps Belichick, no other coach would have the balls to pull off some of those decisions Sean Payton made. (especially the onside kick, which IMO, turned the whole complexion of the game around) Congrats to Pierre Thomas, Brees, Payton, etc...

Too early for a 2010 Mock Draft? Maybe
The only prospect I wanted the sox to go overslot for in any year was Rick Porcello. I don't mind at all if the sox don't deal with Harper and Boras as Harper is very gifted, but alittle overrated IMO. I'm still hoping my boy (and Thunderbolts ) Ranaudo falls to us more-so though, but I like Pomeranz and Blair (I don't think Whitson will fall to us) Two h.s. pitchers I would love to see the sox nab in later rounds are Dan Tillman and Jordan Shipers. As far as a college pitcher.. Cobey Guy (huge sleeper potential, needs one more pitch to be a starter though, otherwise just perhaps a good/stud reliever ala Bellamy, but has what scouts call "swing-and-miss stuff")

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Feb 6, 2010 -> 07:08 PM) With how the team has "worked with him" during his career...I don't blame him one bit for being detrimental to the team. I'd be detrimental to the team too if the team would rather lose games than play me. Amen to that. Hasn't had one 30+ minute season since he's been drafted. I'd rather trade him and let him shine elsewhere (if he does) and put up the "fantasy" numbers than rot here. As for that trade for Duhon Andy suggested, I'd do it in a second to bring Duhon back. I LOVE him as a true backup PG or Rose. That guy has very good court awareness, he's very good at managing the clock, not to mention finding guys. Anything that means Kirk's ass is out of here, I have no problem with. I would actually hope we can somehow sign Duhon next season (if he can't find a starting gig/on the cheap) to backup Rose if need be. Derrick can learn a bit from Duhon in running the point. (minus the occasional jacking three pointers)

A PG.. with a 40 inch vertical... I gotta say I love how the ESPN analyst were pretty much ripping VDN for using a half court offense when you got a PG who is pretty much unguardable and your using him in a pick-n-roll (instead of isolation), pretty much double-teaming him and giving up the ball to the horrid shooters on our team.

Orlando Hudson Signs With Twins
QUOTE (scenario @ Feb 5, 2010 -> 05:52 PM) The Indians were high bidders for Orlando Hudson. 2 years - $10M + a club option with a buyout. Not sure what Mark Shapiro was thinking there. And interesting that Hudson decided to take a 1 year deal instead. That just shows Hudson is more committed to winning than getting more money and going to a lesser team. He sees a much better opportunity in going to the postseason with the Twins, than he does with the Indians. Gotta give that man alot of respect.

Derrick Rose made me jump like a little kid with that massive one handed dunk against the Hawks... too bad that was the only play and thing the Bulls did right the entire game. Man if anyone can make a freaking shot, Rose's assist numbers would be as high as Rondos.

Sox #2 hitters saw lowest % of fastballs last year
QUOTE (Kalapse @ Feb 5, 2010 -> 02:58 PM) How about the fact that Alexei is probably the team's worst bunter and would be asked to bunt near every time Pierre reaches bases in our new NL designed offense? Sad isn't it? Coupled with the fact that Beckham, prior to being drafted, has never bunted in his life before being called up and we got ourselves Corpseball...er...Ozzieball.
