Interesting... last night, Mac ripped WMVP for basically canceling the stations 7-9 local programming. Wonder if that had someting to do with his firing, or if he already knew and was just getting in his parting shot.

I would occasionally go to C.C. to pick up an item if BestBuy didn't have it. I've noticed over the last few years a change int he environment. Less stuff, less people, just not like it was. I new they were hurting.

I thought this theory has been around for years. Glad to see i get some cred.

I think we've been over this before... "literally" is a bad word because everyone defines the 2nd amendment as something different. THe problem lies in the wording. Some say the wording implies militias have the right to bear arms... others saying it says all people... including militias ... can bears arms. I, for one, think it meant we were supposed to arm bears. Via Wikipedia: Since there are slight differences, it can be argued both ways. Personally, i think it was meant more for the militias. Remember, at the time.. and technically still are... a union of individual states. So, state militias were very important back then... not so much now.

So, here's an update... apparently to get either the Palm ro Blackberry, you are required to get the data plan. I was told this when i arrived at the Verizon store. And, I have no need for the data plan, nor would my wife approve it. So.... i got the LG Chocolate3.

So, did anyone watch Blogo's "human shield" press conference the other day? I had to turn it off... it made me feel icky and uncomfortable.

So, yesterday I dropped my cellphone down an airduct... never to be seen or heard from again. So, I am in need of a new cell phone. I'd like to replace my Palm Pilot while I am at it. So, i was looking at the Palm Centro or Blackberry Curve. Or, maybe take some suggestions (i have verizon). Any opinions? I have a budget of under $200.

I had to share this with my fellow tech geeks. (move this to a more appropriate forum is needed) Ok, first the lead up.... Recently we were undergoing some HVAC upgrades and we noticed that half of the offices were not getting ANY air through their floor vents. hmmm..... apparently it's been this way for a while AND NO ONE NOTICED!!! Well, anyways.... the duct work runs UNDER our concrete slab, and the HVAC guy and I hypothesized that maybe one the ducts under our slab had collapsed during some local flooding this past fall. The hypothesis is that the pea gravel found a hole and filled up the duct... or even worse... it's completely collapsed in on itself. Not good. Anyways... moving on. We brought in a guy to run a camera through the ducts to find the problem. Well, due to the curves and bends in the ducts and also the width of the duct, the camera snake would coil up or get stuck. So, that option was out. Next the reason for this post: The HVAC guy brought in his son's R.C. Racing car. We mounted the church camcorder to the an R.C. car chassis, we rana simple RCA cable out of the camera and plugged it into a TV outside the ari duct.... and away it went. Through many struggles and with great effort, it finally made it father than ever before (close to 40-50 ft).... only to hit a bend that makes a 45-90 degree turn, with a lip and going up hill. Experiment over. We couldn't do any further. We gave up. I tied dropping the camera through a vent, but that couldn't see anything.... and in the process accidentally knocked my cell phone down the airduct to never be seen or heard from again. Oh well. Below are images of the makeshift Upuaut and the display monitor.
