We don't have an intimidator if that's what you're sayin. But it was just 2 years ago that Mark Buehrle was an inning away from 20 wins. Loaiza won 21 gms last year. If those 2 can combine to close to 40 wins to go along with the expected improvment of Jon Garland "15-18" wins will have a dynamite 1-2-3- front of the rotation. Now the last 2 spots r obviously question marks. But if we're in it or even in front by June, I guarantee will go out and get another quality starter...

I could see him having a pretty good year now that he's outta the NY spotlight.

Sosa might have some of the worst plate discipline that i've ever seen from a so called "superstar"...As far as Carlos goes he's been a different hitter since the all-star break last year. He's carried it over into this season. I don't think 40 HR'S and 120 RBI'S is outta the question at all for this guy.

I thought that new and improved "vaunted" Cubs offense was supposed to be so deadly this year? Don't tell that to Paul Wilson. Is it me or does Sammy Sosa have some of the worst plate discipline in the game? He swung at atleast 3 balls today that were damn near literally in the dirt...As far as the Astros go. Clemens is a f***in god. 40 years old, and he's able to go out there his very first start and shut down a very solid Giants offense.

It's pretty sad people are actually happe he got hurt. This is baseball for cryin out loud.

WAYYYYYYYY too early to jump on Willie Harris right now. The season is 2 gms old and he's only played in 1 of them...Give him atleast a solid month before u come to the conclusion that he stinks...As far as what I would do. I would go get another starter. Other than that. I'm fine with this team for now.

I'll go with, Lamont. A division title in 93. A possible world series apperance in 94. Or Larussa. All the other guys were WAY before my time...

I actually feel pretty good about this series comin up..The D-rays r givin the Yanks big time fits. I'd much rather play NY now, while they're still gettin used to each other and gelling than later in the year when they're goin full bore...

The bullpen did the job. I was a little nervous in that 9th inning. Koch looked pretty good. I'm not about to jump on his bandwagon though. Will see how he does over time. I'm just happy we got the win...On to NY.

I'm pretty sure Loaiza is anxious to show that 2003 was no fluke. I'm sure he's been hearin that all off-season. I fully expect him to get the job done. I hope the offense is as good as it was on monday. I can't wait to see some more AGRESSIVE White Sox baseball.
