  1. Great all around gm today. Mark was in total control. I got a feeling he could win 20 gms this year with the proper run support. This takes a lot of pressure off Wright tomorrow. I said coming into this series a split would be great. Now we've got a chance tomorrow to send a little bit of a message to the rest of the league...
  2. I agree with all of u...This game is HUGEEEEEEEEEE...But I think will get the job done.
  3. Well he's a White Sox pitching prospect. Something bad was bound to happen.
  4. I hope Honel is ok. That will be a big blow if this is serious. I'm lookin foward to see what Jeremy Reed does. If he tears it up this year i'll be convinced that he's for real...
  5. lol..I can't lie..I was one of them. But I don't mind Paul making me look dumb in this case
  6. Everybody knows Paul can hit. This isn't a flash in the pan as somebody asked. I think last year's struggles will be good for Paul in the long run...
  7. Very true. That's really lame to me. But I did really think Timo was a steal.
  8. I've got a feeling that the Sox could beat the Yankees 27-0 and you would still fine something to complain about. Garland throwin 119 pitches every once in a while is no big deal. Now if this becomes a regular thing, that's totally different...
  9. I thought even before today that Timo was a steal. He's just a solid all around ball player.
  10. WOW. I thought everybody would be against that trade.
  11. I'm sticking to my earlier prediction. By the time the season is over, will be talking about Joe as one of the top 3rd baseman in all of baseball. He's already a stud defensively. All he has to really do now is put a FULL season together. I have no doubt in my mind that he will do that.
  12. I don't think will have that same problem this year. This is a NEW offense. If Manuel was here I would be worried. But we are now playing OZZIE BALL...
  13. I actually was impressed. He's got some good stuff. Obviously he was nervous. I mean c'mon. Your first major league gm at Yankee stadium? That would be tough for anybody. But all in all I like his stuff.
  14. Lets not forget the big play Olivo made. If he hadn't thrown out Matsui that inning couldn've ended up totoally different...
  15. This will no doubt be, Jon's breakout season. In any other year he's out of the gm by the 5th inning. But Ozzie showed tremendous faith in letting Jon pitch through his problems. He ended up pitchin a hell of a game...
  16. I'm gonna give, Willie a month. If he's not gettin the job done by then, we need to find somebodyelse.
  17. I agree with you man. It would be nice to see some of these guys actually live up to their hype. That's why I try and keep things in prespective when it comes to Reed, Anderson, and Sweeney...
  18. Atleast the bullpen has looked good the last couple gms...
  19. Shoe, gave us a chance to win. That's all anybody could've asked for today. The offense really let us down. I do feel good about tomorrow...
  20. I'm lookin forward to see how Honel does. I've been hearing so many good things about this kid..I hope he does well...
  21. Well if recent history means anything we have played pretty well at Yankee stadium of late. Nobody will ever forget the 4 gm sweep in NY in 2000. I can't remember what we did in 2001. But I know we took 2 out of 3 in 2002 and last year. So that's something positive to look at..
  22. If we can come out of this series with a split i'll be ecstatic. Anything more would be sweet too...
  23. Sup, Lucky. I'm from Hanover Park, which is a Northwest Suburb of Chicago. Been a Sox fan for about 15 years. The big hurt is my all-time favorite Sox player. I also like to execute Cub fans... :fthecubs
