I feel really good about Jon this year. 15-18 wins with an era below 4 is more than possible for this guy...

I would never call somebody an idiot for voiceing an opinion. I'm not sayin Jack is right or wrong. He obviously made a BOLD statement by saying that. It was his opinion that when you have an injury like Priors that refuses to heal then you're probably on steroids...Not a big deal to me..If people can accuse Barry Bonds or Jason Giambi or basically any offensive player I don't see the big deal in accusing a pitcher..Like I said..Unless baseball reveals the names of the people they know that have done steroids, or guys come out and admit they've done steroids, everybody is basically a suspect...

Didn't we all say that last year? The worst thing we can do as Sox fans is think we have this thing on lock just because the division is weak. We're gonna have to play solid. CONSISTENT baseball all year to win this thing. None of this take the 1st 3 months off then get it goin in July or whatever like we did last year...

Now that Cotts and Adkins have made the team i've realized something. We're gonna be counting on A LOT of guys that have had little to no MAJOR league success. Cotts, Adkins, Schoenweis, Wright, Takatsu, Harris, Rowand, and Olivo...I will continue to be optimistic. But I worry that we're counting on so many guys who r unproven...Tell me what u guys think...

lol..I remember when Jose Canseco came out and said players were doing steroids nobody believed him. Turned out to be true. I'm not exactly sure where Jack was comin from. I know Prior has extremely large legs. Don't really fit his body at all. It is extremely odd how this so called "minor" injury might keep him out till June...

Well I don't think Jackson would get it just because he's a vet. I'm sure Ozzie and Coop would have to feel he can get the job done as well. From everything i've heard Ozzie and Coop like Jackson and believe he's still got somethin left in the tank...

I'm kinda 50/50 on it. I'd like to see Jackson, cause he's a vet and I feel he still has something left. Then again Adkins has been lights out this spring. I say go with Jackson. I mean really, I don't see Jackson being sent down to the minors at this point. Let Adkins do his thing at Charlotte. If Jackson falters we have a solid option in Adkins. I think that's the best way to go...

Nice article. I agree with most of it. I have no problem with anybody who doesn't pick us to win the division. Hell, if I wasn't a sox fan I wouldn't predict us to win it either. I'm just gonna be optimistic and hope we can get some breaks here and there.
