You gotta feel good for PK. He's taken a lot of crap from a lot of people the last year. To see him performing well is awesome. Now if Koch would f***in learn how to pitch again...We would be world series favorites.

A sweep would be a great way to start off the home season. It would be great momentum with the Yankees comin into town. Go get em, Mark.

Everybody and their mama has predicted the Cubs, Astros, Phillies, ect, to dominate the national league. While that may happen "Well we all know the Cubs suck" nobody has even been talkin about the Marlins. It's early, but this team has looked great so far. Their pitching has been OUTSTANDING led by my pick to win the nl cy young, Josh Beckett. The offense has been great led by potential mvp canidate, Miguel Cabrera, who's already hit 5 hr's. And the bullpen has been anchored by Armando Benitez, who already has 5 saves. This is a very solid all around club. People need to start recognizing.

Will see what happens. I would love it if he could hit around .260...Anything higher would be WONDERFUL...

He hit 2 hr's Saturday. He's already got 3. I thought the Cubs were foolish to give up on him so soon. I can see him hitting 30 plus bombs this year to go along with over 100 rbi. Dumbass ass Cubs :fthecubs

Interesting. I wouldn't go with Olivio hitting 2nd. He doesn't hit for a high enough average. Everything else looks good.

It was just 2 years ago that he was an inning away from 20 wins. If he stays healthy and gets the proper run support he'll be a canidate.

I agree with what all you guys r sayin. But there's also a "negative" side to Maggs havin an mvp season. All that's gonna do is raise his stock. Lets say we were able to cough up the 14 million. I guarantee the Yankees, O's, or maybe even the Dodgers will try and top that. But oh well..Here's to an mvp season for Maggs

They've got some serious pitching problems. One injury to one of their top 3 guys "mainly Brown" AND THEY'RE IN DEEP s***.

This is what I was hoping for. A lil buzz around this team goin into the home opener. It's only been five gms. But u can tell this is a very different Sox team compared to the last 4 years. They're more exciting, agressive, and they put the pressure on the defense. This kid of ball is only gonna get more people to come out and cheer this team on.

I think takin 3 out of 4 from the Yanks could send a little message to the rest of the league..Nothing big or anything. Just a reminder that, hey maybe we lost a lot. But we still have plenty left.

LOL...I saw the game. The Cubs look really s***ty so far. They didn't look great opening day. And got lucky in winning a 15 inning gm last night.

I was one of the few defending Ozzie after the opening day debacle. Hiring Ozzie could turn out to be the best move Kenny has ever made. Then again, he hasn't made many good ones.
