  1. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Apr 27, 2015 -> 06:44 PM) Jordan...stop making hyperbolic comments like this around the Bulls. You are a walking jinx and I don't want that jinx effecting my Bulls!!! And the Cavs have two players better than any Bull, even without Love (Irving and James). Bulls have better depth but Cavs have played fantastic basketball over the last 30 games. I would bet even without Love, the Cavs will open as the favorite (if the bulls win tonight). Mozgov LeBron Jones? Shumpert? Irving Other than Thompson, they have like no depth.
  2. QUOTE (chw42 @ Apr 27, 2015 -> 05:16 PM) I'm interested to see how many games JR Smith will be suspended. If they lose JR and Love for more than 2 games, it gives the Bulls a good chance at winning the series. Without JR and Love, they won't be able to stretch the floor as well. The Cavs' crazy 3 point shooting has helped them win against the Bulls this year. Just a good chance? If the Bulls blow this Thibs should be canned (probably will be anyway) immediately and everybody on the roster not named Butler and Mirotic is trade bait (yes, i know Rose is going nowhere).
  3. QUOTE (Brian @ Apr 26, 2015 -> 08:33 PM) Relieved we didn't draw Washington in round 1 Yup. They were spectacular against the raps.
  4. Nothing official yet. But I'm hearing/reading Love could miss at least two weeks. This combined with what will no doubt be at least a 1-game suspension for (what a f***ing idiot) J. R. Smith gives the Bulls absolutely no excuse not to beat Cleveland.
  5. Pelicans are a joke. Again, GS is so fortunate OKC could never get healthy.
  6. QUOTE (bmags @ Apr 25, 2015 -> 09:41 AM) Haha, I was just going to say that. Meh. Curry is the defensive focal point of every team he sees and he does much of his work off the dribble. Korver relies on somebody getting him the ball when he's open. Curry > anyone as a long-range shooter.
  7. QUOTE (Brian @ Apr 24, 2015 -> 08:43 PM) Cuz I was serious about Hodges. I loved emulating his shot in my driveway. Thank god. My bad. I know Hodges won I think three straightt 3-point shootouts. I thought you were forealz.
  8. It's not gonna happen. But Curry/Harden should really split the MVP. You just literally can't make a legitimate argument of one over the other.
  9. Bird? Hodges? lol. Nostalgia is a disease. Curry Dwarfs both of them by a significant margin.
  10. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Apr 24, 2015 -> 06:53 AM) Obligatory Steph Curry post. That game was unreal. He's the greatest shooter of all-time, imo.
  11. QUOTE (Brian @ Apr 23, 2015 -> 08:55 PM) They would've been better off losing and getting a good pick to go with Jabari. Giannis is the only guy they have I like going forward. Jury still out on MCW. You don't like Middleton?
  12. Bucks will obviously lose this series. But they've got some pretty nice prospects going forward.
  13. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Apr 21, 2015 -> 08:27 PM) LeBron/Irving have been spectacular down the stretch tonight. Just a matter of time before Love gets going.
  14. Kawhi Leonard wins DPOY. Very deserving. Advanced metrics are taking over. He doesn't come close ten years ago.
  15. QUOTE (ron883 @ Apr 22, 2015 -> 06:29 PM) Is this serious? It's a f***ing disgrace to have fans like you cheering for the white sox. Hoping injury upon a human being who has done nothing to you. Let alone a player on a team that has ZERO affect on the white sox. pathetic. Zero respect for people who wish injury upon players.
  16. LeBron/Irving have been spectacular down the stretch tonight. Just a matter of time before Love gets going.
  17. QUOTE (DaveBrown85 @ Apr 21, 2015 -> 07:20 PM) well then I dont like them either. Back to the game... lol
  18. fathom is right. The Cubs are coming and they're coming soon. Russell isn't even up yet.
  19. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 19, 2015 -> 03:16 PM) Not going to say you're wrong, but do want to ask how much of a lesson you want to take from games against the Celtics. It's not just today. They've been an offensive juggernaut for about 45 games now. Just so much space with all the shooting they have.
  20. No idea how anybody from the east is gonna be able to contain this Cleveland offense over 4-7 games.
  21. QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Apr 18, 2015 -> 08:36 AM) A-Rod and a ton of cash for John Danks and Conor Gillaspie. Can A-Rod still play 3B at all and who says no? Kenny always gets his guy…………..
  22. QUOTE (Kalapse @ Apr 17, 2015 -> 09:28 PM) Bottom of the 9th in a tied game. He felt it necessary to make his way onto the field, if it's close enough where he's leaving the dugout, no excuse not to challenge. None. Kalapse has spoken. /thread
  23. QUOTE (shipps @ Apr 17, 2015 -> 05:10 PM) Ozzie is coming back. Its been setting up for that for some time now. greg
  24. 16 consecutive years (would be 17 if not for the short '99 season) of 50 or more wins. 9 conference finals 6 nba finals 5 nba titles All this has taken place in the internet-advanced scouting-analytics-etc-era. The 90's Bulls dynasty was amazing and historic. But i'm sorry. The competition when all that expansion was happening is not even close to what the Spurs have had to deal with EVERY year of the Duncan/Pop era. They've gone up against the best of shaq/kobe/phil lakers, the seven seconds or less suns, Dirk's mavs, Kobe/Gasol lakers, Durant/Westbrook thunder (Harden was there one year). And that's just the west. They've taken down two defending champions during their run ('05 Pistons, last year's Heat). If they beat GS/Cleveland and win another title then that seals it for me: Duncan/Pop > anyone
