They have some of the premier players in the game, players that either came up through the system or were acquired via the system. You have to have some patience, but replicating their model is within reason if you have the right people in place.

So why is it that Bobby Cox always seemed to get a free pass for his club continuously coming up short in the postseason, yet Gardenhire is the worst manager that ever lived because he keeps losing to the AL all-star team?
