We're just one week away from opening night. I feel like a fat kid at an all-you-can-eat buffet. Has it hit anybody that, atleast until October, we're the DEFENDING champions? Alright, I'm getting warm now.

Call me crazy, but I actually feel a little better about the 'pen compared to a couple weeks ago. Logan and Lopez have just been flat good. Can they carry it over to the regular season? That's the obvious question. But atleast we have some options now--where as before we were lookin' at Jenks, Cotts, Politte, McCarthy, ?, ?. As far as Thornton goes, I think Ozzie is gonna be really, really careful with him, atleast at the start. I doubt you'll see him in any kind of game winning or game changing situations.

After today's performance, I'd say he's doing pretty good.

Florida is takin' it to 'Nova.
