Washington DC Regional
QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Mar 16, 2006 -> 11:40 PM) If Randle can even contain him, I like our chances. As do I, but Washington isn't just the Brandon Roy show. They've got a couple of first year guys in Jon Brockman and Justin Dentmon who both made the PAC-10 all freshman team. Jamaal Williams and Bobby Jones are both pretty solid. Ryan Appleby is another guy I'm worried about. He can flat kill you from 3 if you allow it.

QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Mar 17, 2006 -> 12:16 AM) Yup. True story. Doesn't sound like a guy I'd want in my program.

QUOTE(knightni @ Mar 16, 2006 -> 12:12 PM) Contreras comes back to earth and is relegated to the bullpen and BMAC replaces him by July. No green?

How's your bracket?
Make that 4 picks of mine that turned out wrong. I had Syracuse over the Aggies.

Starbury gets pwned by Brown
QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Mar 16, 2006 -> 10:09 AM) So what would everyones ideal draft pair be? Aldridge and Brewer? Aldridge and Morrison? Morrison and Brewer? Without hesitation, I would say Aldridge and Brewer. We take care of two major needs with these two.

QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Mar 16, 2006 -> 11:35 PM) I think he's going to show up big going against an opponent that good, he has all year against high calibur players not named Daniel Horton. If Washington wins this game (still an if) I'm more worried about Augustine. Combine one of the dumbest players I've ever seen with trying to defend a smaller, quick lineup....and foul trouble is unavoidable. I'm more concerned with the bench. If they can step up like they did tonight, we've got a great shot.

Brian Randle better be ready come Saturday. He's gonna have to "bring it" against Brandon Roy.

I knew SDSU would give Indiana a game. What a game for Calloway. That's why I love the NCAA tourney. Anybody can step up and be a hero.

Aggies up 10 over Syracuse. Gerry has 0 fgs made so far. He's waiting till the end.

How's your bracket?
QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Mar 16, 2006 -> 09:52 PM) Friggin' Alabama got so damn lucky. Jean Felix averages 8.1 PPG over the year, and is a 34% shooter on the year, yet manages to shoot 8-11 from the field (all his makes were threes, I believe), and 7-8 from the line. Ah, well -- tis the nature of the beast. Guys get hot, make some shots, and before you know it, 40 minutes is over. True, Felix shot out of his mind today. But I knew Alabama had a big edge inside over Marquette. Jermareo Davidson went for like 24 and 13? And they had a pretty significant edge on the boards overall. Anyway, Marquette will be damn good if they can bring in a decent big or two. James and McNeal are OUTSTANDING.

I'll say one thing about Air Force, they go 110% every minute of every possession. They were still scratching and clawing with like 20 seconds left down double digits.
-
How's your bracket?
I got Marquette, Nevada and Seton Hall wrong. I went against my better judgement and took Marquette over Alabama. Something inside me told me to go with Bama.

Washington DC Regional
Illinois pulling away now. Unbelievable that 25 of Air Force's 31 total fg attempts have been 3's.

Who's on the radar?
QUOTE(SSH2005 @ Mar 16, 2006 -> 08:13 PM) Another decent option would be Juan Cruz. He's probably not going to make the A's bullpen and KW and Beane have dealt quite a bit with each other. I wouldn't mind him at all. I've always loved his arm.

I don't think for a second UCLA is gonna lose to Belmont. I do think they're a little overrated right now.

Oakland Regional
Bama is gonna be dangerous the rest of the way. If their guards can consistently knock shots down from the perimiter, they'll be an extremely tough out. Jean Felix shot out of his mind today.
