  1. Unbelievable! From hero to goat in a matter of minutes.
  2. Crede actually went the other way? I'm speechless.
  3. CREDEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!
  4. QUOTE(Sox Hustler @ Jul 21, 2005 -> 08:46 PM) ?? He made a great catch.
  5. If we can't score off this pathetic Boston bullpen, we've got problems.
  6. LMAO@KONERKO That was so lucky.
  7. QUOTE(qwerty @ Jul 21, 2005 -> 08:42 PM) Crede could have had that ball too that went off his glove... buehrle pitched a very good game considering we spotted the red sox a man on base an inning. Can't blame Crede for that one. He doesn't have a Vince Carter like vertical.
  8. QUOTE(fathom @ Jul 21, 2005 -> 08:42 PM) Did Iguchi have a legit chance at throwing Damon out at home on his error? Yeah, but the throw short hopped.
  9. QUOTE(fathom @ Jul 21, 2005 -> 08:36 PM) We have to make the playoffs first. If we don't start scoring runs, we're not going to beat these tough teams we have play the rest of the way. No more Tampa Bay bullpens on the schedule. I have no doubt will make the playoffs. We can go .500 the rest of the way and still end up with 96/97 wins.
  10. I'm not gonna panic, but these are the types of teams and situations we're gonna be up against in the post-season. We're failing miserably so far.
  11. I'm really starting to doubt if we can do anything in the post-season with such an anemic offense.
  12. I like the Pacers in the Central. With Artest back combined with the addition of Granger, they might be the deepest team in the league. I still can't believe they got Granger at 17.
  13. QUOTE(OilCan @ Jul 21, 2005 -> 09:38 AM) My top 8 out of the East: 1. Miami 2. Detroit 3. Boston 4. Indiana 5. New Jersey 6. Washington 7. Chicago 8. Cleveland Chicago will need more time for the youngsters to continue to get better, while still getting/drafting quality talent. GETTING LUIS SCOLA FROM THE SPURS WOULDN'T BE A BAD IDEAto help out the power forward corps, but his buyout from Tau Cermica (sp?) will cost a pretty penny. Also getting a backup to Eddy for the next few years will be crucial. SF looks set with Nitro/Luol, SG looks set with Gordon/Basden (who will be a Devin Brown clone IMO) and PG (if Duhon resigns) is set as well with Captain Kirk holding the fort down. If the Bulls can't get Scola, maybe a sign and trade to get Hinrich's running mate from Kansas, Nick Collison, perhaps? Last year was pretty much his rookie season, which he wasn't too shabby. A good backup for Tyson, once Antonio Davis' contract expires, will be a good thing. I'd switch the Nets and Celtics around. No way the Wizards and Celtics are better than the Bulls.
  14. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Jul 21, 2005 -> 01:43 AM) Stop making sense You're just a Rowand homer.
  15. August will be the pivotal month. If we can get through August with a 6-8 game lead, we're fine.
  16. QUOTE(The Critic @ Jul 21, 2005 -> 03:15 AM) Jeeeez. They win one World Series, thanks to a historic Yankee collapse, and now they're mocking someone else's lack of WS flags? "Their lonely 1917 WS flag"....like they have 40 of them lined up or something... :rolly I call them the Red Cubs for a reason, and they just gave me another. I'd give anything short of my life for that "one" World Series win.
  17. Did Carrie Hurt his vagina again?
  18. I have complete and total faith in Kenny. If there's something out there that makes sense, I believe he'll go for it. He's not gonna make a move just to make a move.
  19. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Jul 19, 2005 -> 12:13 PM) f*** s*** b**** ASS Not official yet though. It is now. The Cavs are lookin really good. They still need a pg who can shoot from the outside. If they get that, they could be a top 3 team in the east.
  20. If we resign all our guys, will be in the playoffs. But the eastern conference is looking a lot tougher, atleast on paper. The Central division is seriously TOUGH. You figure the Pistons and Pacers "in no order" should be the top two teams. Then you've got the Bucks and Cavs, who should both be very much improved. The Heat will obviously be there. A healthy Nets team, with the addition of Shareef, will definitely be tough.
  21. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Jul 18, 2005 -> 09:58 PM) And by Richardson you mean Jefferson. Is there enough ball for RJeff Vince and Reef? With Kidd as the controls, I think so.
  22. Thanks for the feedback guys.
  23. QUOTE(sircaffey @ Jul 18, 2005 -> 09:35 PM) Every breaking ball he threw except for his drop down sliders, seemed to hang in the inner portion of the plate. Watching the game, I was surprised we weren't down 8 when he left the game. Wow. Not good at all. Hopefully, he was just a little rusty.
  24. QUOTE(fry the twinkies @ Jul 18, 2005 -> 09:25 PM) Reef, Kidd, Vinsanity, Richardson. Here come the Nets. W/ Larry Brown out of Detriot, Eddy Curry's uncertain health, Boston shopping Walker and Pierce, I see a clear path to the finals for New Jersey. Richardson is with the Knicks. The Nets will indeed be a tough team in 06.
