Gotta give some serious love to the Astros. They played a heck of a series. I can't help but wonder what the outcome would be with a healthy Pettite/W.Miller. The Cards are an excellent team. They've been the best team in the nl all year. I know this has to hurt Cub fans even more.

I gotta stick with the Cards as well. This is gonna be an awesome world series. This is the first time in a while that I feel the two best teams are gonna go to battle for the ultimate prize.

Considering their astronomical payroll, not winning it all in the last 4 years is a major failure. They've got some serious holes in their pitching staff. Most of their position players aren't getting any younger. They've got nothing in terms of trade bait. Will they go out and adress these things in the off-season? Will see.

The Yanks haven't won it all since 2000. Maybe the baseball gods are against them or something. I think their days of actually winning it all are over.

I'm STUNNED. This trumps any choke job by the Cubs. When it's all said and done, this choke job by the Yanks will be remembered more than any of their 26 world series titles.
