Basically we're facing: Byrd (5 runs last outing) Gregg (not a starter) Escobar (not a starter) Santana (rookie) Washburn (sick) Lackey how can you NOT like our chances?

in a short series it was ok to leave him out - our pitching was good enough. in a 7 game series though i'm wishing we had another starter out of the pen, or someone who could even start if the need (god forbid) arose like what's happening with the Angels right now. I see no need to have Marte and there are many situations where BMAC would be useful... this decision doesnt make sense to me.
