QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Dec 19, 2013 -> 09:05 AM) he was suspended from the show: http://www.cnn.com/2013/12/18/showbiz/duck...sty-suspension/ I guess it's A&E's brand image to manage, but I dunno about kicking him off of the air over this. Supposedly he sort of hates doing the show and wanted out anyway, so maybe it's ultimately what he wanted. Whats the point of reality tv if the people cant be real? Suspending someone for this is stupid. QUOTE (Alpha Dog @ Dec 19, 2013 -> 09:10 AM) Kinda funny the level of outrage GLADD and other groups are having over this, when they give their pal Baldwin a complete pass for worse. I guess since he donates money he gets a few 'get out of gay-outrage free' cards each year. QUOTE (Alpha Dog @ Dec 19, 2013 -> 09:30 AM) That was more of a case that his show sucked and it was a convenient excuse to cancel it. They gave it to him to begin with even with all his previous documented incidents, so I can't see where one more made a difference. You, like the groups you dislike so much, just whine way to much. Its hard to take it seriously when it sounds like Charlie Brown's teacher.

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Dec 18, 2013 -> 04:16 PM) Judging from the noises coming from the horse, it was not consensual. Pfft we all know that "nay" means yes.
-
QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Dec 18, 2013 -> 04:12 PM) Dude, just deal with it. Having sex with horses is frowned upon and that's not changing anytime soon. 2 consenting animals should be allowed to do what they want!

QUOTE (CrimsonWeltall @ Dec 18, 2013 -> 04:00 PM) Gotta pander to those redneck viewers who actually think their image is real. I cant decide if they are just scam artists or if they are truly that dumb. Its just sad if someone actually believes this.

And yet thousands of straight men do everything in their power to get a girl to have anal/oral sex with them. And then there are some girls who actually prefer it to regular sex. Cant argue taste.

QUOTE (bigruss22 @ Dec 18, 2013 -> 03:21 PM) That's on you. Not really, its on society. Its not my fault society cant accept that what I do on my free time doesnt make me bad at my profession. Its not my fault that society has created arbitrary rules and laws. Thats on society, and Ill do my best to break them down and make it so other people dont have to live in the same sort of stupid box.

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Dec 18, 2013 -> 02:50 PM) It's not all that much different than posting things in this forum to a bunch of strangers. Why should we care about the concert you went to or your thoughts on George Zimmerman? You dont have to care. Im not asking anyone to care, thats why I share my thoughts as an anonymous name "Soxbadger" that is not a real human. The point of the message board for me is to allow me an outlet to flesh out ideas to a greater audience. Facebook is encapsulated. The people who can see my posts are my friends, the people who can comment, are my friends. What is the point of having 1,000 people who are just going to bow? I am looking for Jelly Monsters, I want the haters, I want the people who have extremely divergent ideas. Because that is what makes me think. So it is different, because on facebook I couldnt be me, I have to be the photo shopped bulls*** version.

QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Dec 18, 2013 -> 02:30 PM) but nothing about facebook requires your life to become a circus freakshow. You don't need to post a single thing if you don't want to. Right, I dont want to post a single thing so i dont have facebook. What is the point of having facebook if Im not going to become part of the facade?
-
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Dec 18, 2013 -> 01:55 PM) There are a ton of great things about facebook. Just like anything it is Garbage In, Garbage Out. Anything I can do on facebook I can do with other tools that do not require my life to become a circus freak show.

QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Dec 18, 2013 -> 01:25 PM) I can still be useful for organizing parties/events, talking with a group of people (groups), etc. The usefulness doesnt outweigh the terribleness. Its just another gilded age. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Dec 18, 2013 -> 01:47 PM) Anyone else use Snapchat? I love it and think it's absolutely hilarious at times, but my buddy's wife just sends the stupidest ones out. "OHH LASAGNA MMMMM." I don't give a s*** what you are eating for dinner, send me something of you doing something funny I have a snapchat, I barely send things, but every once in a while someone sends me something funny. (edit) Its kind of like my linkedin though, I never ask people to join my network, but I may accept your request.

QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Dec 18, 2013 -> 11:47 AM) Then I may as well keep them out of every competitive sport, right? You can get hit by line drives in baseballs, get undercut and crack your head open in basketball, get cut or slip and fall in hockey, drown in swimming...may as well relegate him to a life of video games. If my future child is interested in playing a sport, I will let them. If they aren't, I'm not going to make them play anything. I wouldnt convince my kid to play football, but if they wanted to, I would let them. No point in living if our lives are just a padded cage.

To prove to everyone that they are in love. Why do people instagram their watches, b****es, etc. To prove they matter. The problem is that none of this matters, its all just background noise and our generation refuses to speak up.

I dont have a facebook account. I get why a young High School me may have wanted one, when my ego/persona was driven by adulation. But at some point I decided that I didnt give a f*** about what other people thought. The people that were just illusory friends from High School because of cliques and other bulls***, I could care less.

Kanye was really good, Im not sure if its rap anymore, but its something.

QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Dec 17, 2013 -> 12:47 PM) I was thinking about getting my Dad Netflix for Christmas (Mom would use it too, just less). They aren't the most tech-savvy people, but it seems like Netflix is a pretty easy process. Is this the way to go, or would you recommend a different route for getting TV shows/movies they'd want to watch? I don't know much about the different options out there, and would love to hear from people who have used any of them. Thanks. My parents use my netflix account and dont seem to have many issues.

QUOTE (farmteam @ Dec 16, 2013 -> 11:25 PM) Seems like you should be using Wisconsin's FT against if you're trying to prove that point. I have no idea what those numbers are and maybe Wisconsin hasn't been hurt there either. I said that Wisconsin would benefit from the rule change because they would get more free throws as one of the most common ways to beat them was to aggressively ride them. -

QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Dec 16, 2013 -> 06:37 PM) I don't care about who's right or wrong, but I'd run these after BT play, or at least half of it. More fun to talk when you know there is a chance you could still be wrong. -
Bullocks to the previous statement.

Guys I have to admit, the Indiana fan was right, Wisconsin has had real trouble adjusting to the new rules.... Oh wait, I was right and its helped Wisconsin. LULZ http://www.teamrankings.com/ncaa-basketbal.../fouls-category Wisconsin 2013 14.8 fouls per game, 2012 14.0 fouls per game. Wisconsin 2013 ft attempts per game 22, 2012 ft attempts per game 17 -
Curling is good, I like most of the Winter Olympics though. Luge, etc its all good fun.

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Dec 15, 2013 -> 02:38 PM) Brandon should have had that. Ball was slightly under thrown but definitely catchable. And Jeffrey with another insane play.
-
QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Dec 15, 2013 -> 01:13 PM) He started and stopped, can't do that, it was the right call. It was awkward. Seemed like he got fooled by Cutlers hard count.
-
QUOTE (Jake @ Dec 15, 2013 -> 01:08 PM) Unforgivably bad call may change the outcome of this one This game shouldnt even be close, not the refs fault.

QUOTE (fathom @ Dec 15, 2013 -> 01:00 PM) Wow Michael Wilbon @RealMikeWilbon 2m One more series for Cutler to show he can win this game...if not get him out...Trestman, at this moment, looks like he should be in CFL. These guys are being paid millions of dollars to watch game film. Its pretty inexcusable when you cant see something that random jerks like me can see within 5 minutes of the change at QB. And Im someone who generally hates backup QBs and think they are just flavor of the month. That being said Im going to hope that this is just rust and that Cutler comes back and throws for 10,000. The delay of games and how frantic it is at the line of scrimmage is still a concern.

Ive always assumed that they can all get drugs, I just have a general rule about not buying drugs from someone in a bathroom.
