That's true. And besides, realistically, he can't compete with the Itchy Rolls, the Vlad "I piss on my hands although you'll never hear me say it" Guerreros, the Gary "I misplayed balls back in Milwaukee on purpose" Sheffields, etc. But if this hitting streak continues, he has a shot at making it this year, despite the power outage.

It appears as though Abbott can only pitch against teams that he is thoroughly familiar with, like the Sox and Twins. But his ERA is close to 7.00, which means that he doesn't even get past the 2nd inning in most starts. But against the AL Central, it appears to be a different story.
