  1. I don't know. Have you looked at his game log? Because sure, he was a stud against the Bulls (who isn't), but he's a bench player at best. A 6th man. His 2003 season was a suckfest, putting up like 4 points in 35 minutes, consistently. Now, Mobley on the other hand....there's a stud. Kobe Bryant can't shake him. That's some defense right there (always the #1 aspect that you have to look at). He'll put up 25 on ya. He shoots 40% from 3 point range. That's how you build, right there.
  2. Did he grow a couple inches this past year? Because I remember him being projected as a small forward. But he's definitely a power forward. PG: Arenas SG: Mobley SF: ???? PF: Okafor/Brown/Cato C: Brown/Hunter That's some superior fire power down low, good enough to give the Pistons a challenge.
  3. That is an indecent betting proposal!
  4. Steve Francis turns the ball over more than anyone. You'll get far in the playoffs with Stevie Franchise if he has a good supporting cast, but you'll never win it all. Well, unless he's playing with Shaq, Duncan, or Garnett. But that's about it.
  5. I disagree. I love the NBA trade rumors. I appreciate you posting this stuff, DBAHO. If they complete the initial trade, they should go ahead and deal Francis and Gooden to the Wizards for Brown and Arenas. PG: Arenas SG: Mobley SF: Okafor PF: Brown/Hunter/Cato C: Brown/Hunter And if Grant Hill comes back, he'd be a 6th man. They should also add a free agent center. That would be one hell of a team, man. A damn good defensive team, with defensive powerhouse aspirations.
  6. White Sox history....ya gotta love it.

  8. I've been in favor of acquiring someone like Tom Glavine or Randy Johnson all along. But I'm not about to criticize a pitcher with 60 wins at the age of 25.
  9. Talking s*** about Mark is completely unnecessary. How would you like it if I talked s*** about Andre Aggasi? That's what I thought. :finger
  10. Naah, f*** that. Buehrle is the man. Mark gave up 7 earned runs in all of May. He gave up 7 earned runs to the Expos last week. He's having a bad month (understatement), but like I've said before on numerous occasions, the man has balls. I'm not concerned at all with his past few outings. He'll get back on track. This is for certain. Don't abandon your heroes.
  11. If you're stealing cars and running from the cops, you deserve to have the living s*** beaten out of you. LAPD
  12. When July 10th rolls around, and Frank is leading the AL in HR, OBP, OPS, and possibly Slugging (as he's #2 right now), Torre won't have much of a choice. The guy might be stupid, but he's not retarded. Here's how I think it will shape up in the AL: C: Rodriguez DET, Posada NYY 1B: Giambi NYY, Thomas CWS 2B: Soriano TEX, Uribe CWS SS: Jeter NYY, Young TEX 3B: Rodriguez NYY, Mora BAL, Blalock TEX OF: Guerrero ANA, Ramirez BOS, Sheffield NYY, Suzuki SEA, Crawford TB, Beltran KC I think that these four will be eligible for 18th man: Ortiz, BOS Tejada, BAL Guillen, DET Martinez, CLE And Ortiz will win, or course. I figure that these pitchers will be selected for certain: Joe Nathan MIN C.C. Sabathia CLE The other 8 will be selected from this pool (my predictions being in bold): Rivera, NYY Vazquez, NYY Martinez, BOS Schilling, BOS Foulke, BOS Halladay, TOR Buehrle, CWS Hudson, OAK Mulder, OAK Rogers, TEX Cordero, TEX Guardado, SEA Garcia, SEA Moyer, SEA
  13. Check out where all of the Astros rank on the National League ballot. It's unbelievable.
  14. Valentin with a double! Carlos scores! 8 to zip!
  15. That HR by Thomas was an absolute blast. A towering drive.
  16. Yeah, horrible bunt by Miguel. Absolutely horrible.
  17. Uribe with a duck snort. Crede scores. 4 To zip.
  18. Holy s***, man. Willie was swinging for the fences right there. Trying to get his 1st home run.
  19. Chill, bruh. He's on pace for 35 HR. Paul must have gained maybe 1 or 2 pounds of muscle during the offseason, because if I had a nickel for every time that guy flew out to the warning track from 2000 to 2003, I'd have enough money to purchase a new lawn mower.
