Official NFL Thread
QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Sep 11, 2007 -> 05:44 PM) What? Only one other Coach is better than him? Who the hell is that? Belichick? And then no one? Give me a break. Hey, that's just Rock being Rock. Lovie is the most successful coach from the Dungy tree (thus far, anyway), but I wouldn't go as far as to call him a Top 10 coach in the NFL. He just happens to work with the most brilliant defensive scout in all of football. Meatheads will point to the W/L record, no doubt, but in the end, dude is just not of the Belichick/Billick/Shanahan/Dungy/Gibbs/Reid/Fox/etc caliber. I have love for Lovie, though. While he might have some Dusty-like qualities, his football philosophy is sound, and he's excellent with young players.

Curtis Granderson's assault on a 93 year old AL record
QUOTE(Bonderman38 @ Sep 9, 2007 -> 05:13 PM) 2B-36 3B-22 HR-20 SB-20 He just did it. Like I said before, simply amazing. What is the record for extra-base hits out of the leadoff slot? Cheat, I'm looking in your direction.

She looks perfectly fine to me
Two in the pink and one in the stink? Ewww. I'm looking forward to giving it a try, though. I'm pushing 30 now, so I might as well be an old man, because stuff like this is waaaaay the f*ck over my head. Like Kid Gleason, I thought that they were flashing gang signs or something.

QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Sep 8, 2007 -> 10:16 PM) We had to put our cat to sleep today (only 4/1/2). The cat ended up having a kidney problem and they think it is from bad catfood (even though the food we use was not part of the recall, but I guess every company uses some sort of product that comes from China and it is what can cause the issue). Its amazing how much a pet means to you and how sad it is when they have to leave. Pets really are part of the family. I'm sorry to hear that, bro. I am a cat lover myself, so I definitely feel your pain.

She looks perfectly fine to me
QUOTE(santo=dorf @ Sep 8, 2007 -> 09:48 PM) I'd be proud of my kids if they worked, went to college, looked good, and were featured on national TV too. Haha, that was supposed to be in green, right? Hell, the only reason that she's not doing porn as of yet is because mommy and daddy are enablers. As TheBigHurt would say, that is a fact.

Shaq Locates His Lost "D"
QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Sep 8, 2007 -> 03:39 PM) I think it's safe to say that Shaq's ex-wife and Kobe Bryant's anus are going to be useless to every other guy on Earth. I'm talking pencil and hallway type stuff here. Here you go, I fixed it up for you. I knew that this thread would turn x-rated, at some point.

QUOTE(Texsox @ Sep 8, 2007 -> 01:33 PM) Her parents must be so proud. Yeah, but they fronted the bread for her tit job. She's a former member of the itty bitty titty committee.

This is not good for Alex Rodriguez
QUOTE(fathom @ Sep 7, 2007 -> 11:42 PM) He was on his way to being a 400 homer player. That's true, but if you made a list of the top 50 offensive players in the game as of now, Troy would be lucky to make it.

She looks perfectly fine to me
QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Sep 7, 2007 -> 09:53 PM) Turns out she was going to the doctor about her very advanced case of blurry crotch disease ("BCD"). It never occured to me that it might have been some crotch disease, blurry or otherwise. Good crotch specialists are so hard to find these days. Southern California is a barren wasteland for gifted crotch doctors. But Tucson? That's where it's at.

This is not good for Alex Rodriguez
QUOTE(frankie5angels @ Sep 7, 2007 -> 09:09 PM) Glaus isn't a small fish at all. He is one of the better players in the league. Won an MVP, so I say he is more than just a small fish. He's got a big fish rep, but I don't think he cracks a "Top 50 Offensive Players" list.

She looks perfectly fine to me
QUOTE(Controlled Chaos @ Sep 7, 2007 -> 08:50 PM) Ebbert said she was lightly dressed after a same-day trip to Tucson, Ariz., and back for a doctor's appointment. Did y'all catch this? She's hopping on plane flights for appointments with her "doctor", lol. Is Hooters fronting the dough for these out-of-state boob jobs and subsequent check-ups, or is daddy just a tad too stupid to bring children into this world? Don't answer the first question; I was just kidding. EDIT: Btw, that s***'s just poorly worded. She flew to Tucson for a doctor's appointment, and then she was trying to come back. I ain't no English professor, but surely, there has to be a better way to get this point across.

Senator Larry Craig convicted of lewd conduct in men's bathroom
QUOTE(NorthSideSox72 @ Sep 6, 2007 -> 09:14 PM) Just curious... is it the law you disagree with? Yep. If you catch dudes in the act (you hear someone moaning a few stalls over, etc), then that's fine. If there's some kind of verbal offer for sex, then I can definitely understand that too. Playing footsies and staring through a crack in the stall is creepy as hell, no doubt, but I don't see it as an arrestable offense. Basically, if I were that cop, I'd have let him off with a warning, but that's just me. It's called discretion, as you know; if the police arrested every creep in a public bathroom, the court system would be that much more inefficient.

Senator Larry Craig convicted of lewd conduct in men's bathroom
QUOTE(Texsox @ Sep 6, 2007 -> 08:20 PM) I agree. Cops should not engage in the illegal act. Well yeah, who said that they should? That's more or less northside putting words into my mouth.

Senator Larry Craig convicted of lewd conduct in men's bathroom
QUOTE(NorthSideSox72 @ Sep 6, 2007 -> 08:17 PM) LEGAL intent. Not the psychological term intent. Important difference. Legal intent was clearly manifest here. Sting-type operations do not require the illegal act to be successful - the burden of proof is to get enough evidence that there is no reasonable doubt as to the next act. You cannot expect cops to actually engage in the illegal act itself. So it is illegal for one man to hit on another? I get it now. QUOTE(NorthSideSox72 @ Sep 6, 2007 -> 08:19 PM) While he waited for a flight connection? If it wasn't in the stall, it was somewhere else in the airport, and that's public (unless he has a private office in the airport). Okay, so I meet some beautiful lady while waiting for a flight connection, and I make arrangements to catch another subsequent flight. This is completely out of the realm of possibility, yeah? Come on. Beyond a reasonable doubt my ass.

Senator Larry Craig convicted of lewd conduct in men's bathroom
QUOTE(Texsox @ Sep 6, 2007 -> 08:01 PM) All I'm saying is I'd feel better if there was some verbal exchange where the criminal asks or offers public sex, same as the threshold for prostitutes. The intent to have sex was present. The intent to have public sex? Where is it? How can anyone possibly prove it? You can tell all of that just from footsies? If I play footsies with my sister's friend underneath the dinner table, does that mean we go at it right there and then? Is that my intent? I don't get it.

Senator Larry Craig convicted of lewd conduct in men's bathroom
QUOTE(NorthSideSox72 @ Sep 6, 2007 -> 07:49 PM) its about sex in public. Where is the sexual act? Don't talk to me about intent, either. Like I said before, damn near everyone would be locked up if that were the case. Not me, though. I'm a prude.

Senator Larry Craig convicted of lewd conduct in men's bathroom
QUOTE(Rex Kicka** @ Sep 6, 2007 -> 02:05 PM) I don't believe that sex in public bathrooms should be legal, and I do think that propositioning someone to join them in the stall for sex is the same thing QUOTE(Texsox @ Sep 6, 2007 -> 07:47 PM) Same thing if a guy bought a girl a drink, danced, bought another drink, danced, talked about his car's big back seat . . . Rex, check out Tex. If propositioning were the equivalent of the sexual act, I wouldn't have any friends; they'd all be locked up. We're talking about public settings here, and a bar is no different. Propositioning in and of itself is harmless.

Products we don't need, but cool
QUOTE(mreye @ Sep 6, 2007 -> 06:45 PM) It's quicker to do that than to search for a pen and paper every time. Granted, I wouldn't spend $180 on it. I would spend $40, though. You suck! If I see someone using one of those at a grocery store, I'm gonna go all Archuletta on 'em.
