Bulls win at Clippers
Here, I'll post this here as well for some of the gifted basketball minds amongst you who might not catch it in the NBA thread. Rock, how does it feel to be on the same level as White Sox Josh? You have established yourself as a pretty terrible poster today IMHO.

Official NBA Discussion Thread
I apologize in advance for cherry-picking. Offensive Rebounds Per Minute Since January 21 (w/ a minimum of 250 Minutes Played) 1. Tyson Chandler .158 2. Kendrick Perkins .119 3. Troy Murphy .114 4. Drew Gooden .113 5. Ben Wallace .112 6. Zaza Pachulia .101 7. Kenny Thomas .100 8. Robert Swift .097 9. Zach Randolph .094 10. Shaquille O'Neal .091 11. Dwight Howard .090 12. Samuel Dalembert .089 13. Jamal Magloire .087 14. Kevin Garnett .085 15. Chris Webber .084 Overall Rebounds Per Minute Since January 21 1. Tyson Chandler .389 2. Jamal Magloire .348 3. Troy Murphy .341 4. Kevin Garnett .340 5. Drew Gooden .324 6. Samuel Dalembert .316 7. Tim Duncan .312 8. Chris Kaman .308 9. Dwight Howard .307 10. Ben Wallace .305 11. Kendrick Perkins .300 12. Robert Swift .294 13. Shaquille O'Neal .290 14. Kenny Thomas .276 15. Shawn Marion .264 I have a question. Why is Tyson Chandler owning people so badly on the boards? Can anyone explain the separation between him and the #2 guy in both categories? Come on, let's talk about this.

Bulls win at Clippers
QUOTE(RockRaines @ Feb 13, 2006 -> 09:07 PM) Hahaha, you would think you are dating him or something. Yes I watched him, yes he played like he always does. Leaping and swinging his arms on defense, worthless on offense. He got into double digit rebounds well into the 4th quarter, wow, what a beast he is. He is an average player IMO, and will stay that way. He only true skill is that he was born with height. You want to evaluate him based on tools huh? Thats the most ridiculous thing I have heard. You know how many "players with potential" bow out of the NBA every year? Steve Nash was slated to have average potential, and now he is an MVP. So, you watched the game??? Then why did you say that Brand torched him? I don't know, man. You're kind of sounding like White Sox Josh all of a sudden. Will you get your story straight, please? And I think that qwerty said it best. Chandler is making b****es look stupid. Really, I think that says it all. "His only true skill is height". Since when is height a skill? If we're talking tools and intangibles, Chandler possesses all of these: quickness, height, wingspan, leaping ability, work ethic, mean streak, passion to win, etc. Combine all of those things. He has the makings of a defensive legend, or am I wrong? And I don't know if anyone has noticed, but Chandler has proven to be a pretty good passer. Anyway :rolly , I'll post some OREB and REB numbers in a little while. Not for you, obviously. Start watching some games, please.

T.O. to the Bears?
QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Feb 13, 2006 -> 08:23 PM) Roger Clemens wasn't an all Big 10 player at QB though. True.

T.O. to the Bears?
QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Feb 13, 2006 -> 08:17 PM) http://www.soxtalk.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=46380 Bulls vs Kings thread. check about 3/4 of the way down. Quite humorous. OH MY GOD As if Hinrich>>>>>Lebron James wasn't bad enough, he chimed in with this gem: Unreal.

T.O. to the Bears?
QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Feb 13, 2006 -> 08:17 PM) that Big Ben guy is pretty good too. I'm not looking for a reason as to why he has received no reps. I am saying that he has received no reps. There is no basis for speculation. I could say that Roger Clemens would be a better QB than Orton or Blake. It's almost the same difference.

T.O. to the Bears?
QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Feb 13, 2006 -> 08:11 PM) -Donovan McNabb is clearly the most over-rated player in the league, and because of this the Bears should take a chance on TO because the whole thing that happened in Philly was overblown. Did I miss any good ones? McNabb is clearly the most overrated player IN THE HISTORY OF THE NFL. We're talking since 1920 here.

T.O. to the Bears?
QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Feb 13, 2006 -> 08:11 PM) -The Bulls did the right thing in drafting Kirk Hinrich instead of LeBron James because Kirk Hinrich plays better defense(as if the Bulls had a shot at drafting him anyways....) Sweet Jesus, who said that?

T.O. to the Bears?
QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Feb 13, 2006 -> 07:51 PM) Yep, he's going to be way overpaid by somebody. Oh, and he'd easily be the 2nd best QB on this current Bears roster, so I'd have to disagree in that regard (although it says more about Orton and Blake than it does Antwaan). Why do you say that? Because of the throw he made in the Super Bowl? All I know is that Randle El has been in the NFL for a while now, and he gets no QB reps in practice. He'd get annihilated.
-
T.O. to the Bears?
QUOTE(Cuck the Fubs @ Feb 13, 2006 -> 07:37 PM) Sign Randle El. A speed WR, and an emergancy QB. And yet no mention of his special teams prowess. That is the most valuable facet of his game. He's a good #3 WR at best, and he sure as hell ain't no QB.

Bulls win at Clippers
QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Feb 13, 2006 -> 07:40 PM) Just average a double double, that's all I ask from Tyson. If your making 12 or 13 million a year, please just score 10 and rebound 10 per game for the season. But I will be gone with my numbers seeing as it's Tyson, and It's pretty clear he's your brother or cousin or something. No, I'm actually the President of his Fan Club. Of course I'm gonna get heated when people talk s***. Again, you evaluate tools, and the sky is the limit for Tyson.

Bulls win at Clippers
QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Feb 13, 2006 -> 07:34 PM) He got most of his points on Sweetney and Songalia. When Chandler was on him he had pretty much nothing. And of course, Chisoxfn wouldn't even have to state the obvious if people actually looked into things. Don't run your mouth if you're not even watching these games. That's one of the sure signs of a fool.

Bulls win at Clippers
QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Feb 13, 2006 -> 07:17 PM) He still has no offensive game and still is overpaid, but he's been one of the best defensive players/rebounders in the NBA the last couple or few weeks here. If he rebounds like a madman and plays the type of defense that he's capable of, even without an offensive game, he is not overpaid. Are we in this for the rings, or what? If so, players like Chandler are top priority. I'll post OREB and overall REB numbers since Jan 21 in the NBA thread later on today. Sorry for cherrypicking. Witness a madman in the making. Nothing I didn't already know, as I evaluate guys based on tools, unlike a gang of motherf***ers.

T.O. to the Bears?
QUOTE(Kalapse @ Feb 13, 2006 -> 07:08 PM) I'd take McNabb on the Bears in a f***ing second the guy is a stud QB and most NFL teams would be lucky to have him But I thought he was CLEARLY the most overrated player in the history of the NFL??? Is there a loophole in the personal atacks policy that allows you to rip on retards? I've gotta say that I'm tired of holding back on here.

T.O. to the Bears?
QUOTE(CluelessJoe1919 @ Feb 13, 2006 -> 05:40 PM) I always thought that Philly overreacted badly to Owens, especially when it pertained to McNabb, who is clearly the most overrated player in the history of the NFL... He always plays hard and wants to win. He's a terrific talent...And, clearly, the Bears need help at WR.. I say, bring him in and see. No, you're confused. In one thread, you're saying that Tyson Chandler's passion is a bad thing. Meanwhile, he pumps all his teamates up after a thunder dunk and his contributions to team chemistry are immeasurable. He's one of the nicest guys in that locker room. Now you're promoting a guy who alienates all of his teammates, has no friends, and just sucks at life in general. You're an early candidate for "Most Likely To Get Flamed", I'll give you that.

Bulls win at Clippers
The most amusing thing I have seen all year: Hinrich schools the Clippers for three straight lay-ups, and then, as usual, Ben Gordon figures that he's f*** with Kirk's offensive momentum. He tries to drive in, and he stumbles and falls to the ground while losing the ball. I know that Gordon is a wack motherf***er who can only shoot and do nothing else well. But I come here, and people are talking s*** about Chandler instead. You know, the guy leads the NBA in offensive rebounding and overall rebounding since he was inserted into the starting lineup against Indiana back on January 21. His defense has been superb. And if you're going to talk s*** about his passion and say that Skiles should bench Chandler for a month, you ought to have your head examined. Stick around, new guy. You're just itching to get chastised on here.

Bulls win at Clippers
QUOTE(CluelessJoe1919 @ Feb 13, 2006 -> 05:46 PM) Sigh...When the deal was made, I told my pals that this would probably be a good deal for the Bulls... I'm still holding out hope that Chandler will (someday) become a force. However, it appears to me that he's still too immature and probably spoiled at too young of an age to ever become a major NBA force like Brand is... The first thing I'd tell Chandler if I were Skiles would be this: "If you ever dunk again and act like you just won the game, I'll pull you out of the game for a month." I'd also tell him: "From now on, you don't dunk unless it's with one hand. That way you can't hang on the rim like you're a good NBA player." I cringed when they signed this guy to that whopping contract. But, like I said, I'm still holding out hope. I must be nuts, eh? The basketball talk around here is f***ing pathetic.

Bulls win at Clippers
QUOTE(RockRaines @ Feb 13, 2006 -> 03:16 PM) Usually beasts dont give up double-doubles with 30 pts. God damn man, did you even bother to watch this game??? Brand abused Songalia and Sweetney. When Chandler was on him, he couldn't do a god damn thing. If you're not going to watch these games, don't bother commenting on them. You're usually a better poster than this. Seriously, get your head out of your ass. Chandler played great. He was mostly on Kaman, but he switched over to Brand at times.

Rex should retire from NFL football.
QUOTE(RibbieRubarb @ Feb 10, 2006 -> 10:24 PM) So to recap...Here are crazyman26's main points: Rex injury was not as severe as we thought, thus he could have played weeks before. Jerry Angelo is on record saying Kyle Orton is the starter in 2006, even though he said Rex is the starter. Rex Grossman has never been a starting QB and will never start a NFL game again, thus he should play for the CFL. Crazyman26's "friends" are always amazed how right he is 100% of the time and we will be too. Everyone caught up?...and ACTION! This is just too damn funny, especially the part about his "friends". I'd imagine that his friends are knuckleheads by default if they hang out with this guy. Either that, or they keep asking him to come around so that they can have someone to rip on. There's only so many times that you can watch Chappelle Show reruns. You have to get your comedy from somewhere, and "crazyman" will do.

anyone here ever injured themselves during sex?
Can premature ejaculators get injured? I've been fortunate thus far.

Rex should retire from NFL football.
QUOTE(crazyman26 @ Feb 10, 2006 -> 07:22 PM) I actually gauranteed 3 years ago when Grossman first came to Chicago he would never be a starting QB. So far I have been right but people tell me I am lucky to be right. It does not matter the reasons though, facts are facts, until he plays alot more than 2 starts in a single NFL season, he has never been a starting QB in the NFL, and I have been right since I predicted it 3 full years ago. Next year if he does not get injured, the people who discredit my prediction of 3 years ago will have run out of excuses I believe, since he will be on the bench behind Orton and no injury there as an excuse. They will have to concede I was right all along that Grossman would never be a starting QB in the NFL. Hopefully you will also concede that I knew all along what was going to happen if I turn out to be right, especialy if Rex does not get injured. You have established yourself as a terrible poster right off the bat. Congratulations.
