  1. Actually, I think the original Metal Gear Solid was for Playstation. I think Metal Gear was for Nintendo. I could be wrong, however.
  2. Holy crap. I fought Psycho Mantis for HOURS and only hit him a few times. Then I read online to switch the controller outlet and I bet him within minutes. Do you, or anyone know the real way to beat him?
  3. Really? I didn't know about that. I'll have to give that a try.
  4. Yea, it's a prequel. Ocelot is young in the game! It's nuts.
  5. Any Metal Gear fans? I picked the game up on Wednesday, when it came out. I'm playing on hard mode, so there is no radar. There is a radar for the other modes, but it is battery operated, so you can lose its power. I haven't played it a lot, but so far it's more movie than game. It's a little annoying, but from all the reviews I've read, it pays off. The jungle and Cold War aspect of the game is cool. So far it's harder than the previous two Solid games and I'm enjoying the hell out of it. Anyone else pick the game up?
  6. Vote for Bush you damn idiots. You're all friggen jackasses if you don't vote for Bush and on top of that, you're a moron if you don't vote for Bush. So just do yourself a favor, vote for Bush. No but seriously, I agree. Keep it civil. And yes, I am voting for Bush.
  7. He's undervalued by White Sox fans. If it's between Konerko and Lee, I take Lee.
  8. Terry is thanking somebody (probably the lord) that the White Sox did not hire him. I would be too.
  9. I don't know why people cream themselves over this guys knowledge. He just states the obvious and rambles on. His voice is also incredibly annoying and boring. I'll take Hawk and DJ thank you very much.
  10. If talent won games, the Sox would have 5 division championships under their belt by now. And money buys talent. Right? ...Wrong.
  11. The plans from 1918-2000 didn't work either. What's your point? As I said, the White Sox haven't had it. Luck, that is.
  12. Then who is? I was always under the impression that he owned a pretty large share (at least the largest of anyone) and there was Einhorn and a bunch of other shareholders. Can somebody explain this one to me?
  13. Teams always mimic the team that won the championship last season. THe fact is that it doesn't work. There is no set way to win it, you've got your Red Sox, Marlins, Angels, Yankees and so on. It doesn't matter what type of team you throw out there. In the end, to win it, you have to have a hell of a team, a lot of god damn luck and more heart than imaginable. Since 1917, the White Sox haven't had it. Money doesn't win championships. Ask Steinbrinner.
  14. Slaughter House-Five by Kurt Vonnegut and The Metamorphisis by Franz Kafka
  15. The day Pedro becomes a Yankee is the day my hair falls out. Pedro will never be a Yankee.
  16. The league doesn't crack down on that crap?
  17. Too many people I know are voting for Kerry simply because Bush is a poor public speaker and it makes him look more ignorant than he is. I agree with Stone on this one. While I'm not saying you should vote for Bush (Yes, I'm voting for Bush) you should at least look past his public speaking skills. Get informed, make the right decision.
  18. Eh. Not attractive enough to cheat on my wife...what ever the hell that means.
  19. I was always bothered by the high school kids that would cry or punch lockers or slam stuff around after they lost or struck out and whatnot. Lose the image kid, we all know you don't care that much. This is just coming from experience. I knew none of my teammates cared enough to cry or slam their things around...but when they did, all I could think about was what kind of phony's they were. High school sports have some fun moments, but when I look back at it, a lot of those kids were jackasses about it.
  20. Yea, I used to be a big Radiohead follower (still follow them, but don't live or die for them) and I remember getting a big kick out of this. I believe Harvard has a Radiohead analyzation class now.
  21. You don't have to be a gold glover to be a good fielder.
