It looks like Pauly is going to be an Angel. Thanx for the memories Pauly! Its been fun as hell and you truly were worth all the money we gave you. You were a HUGE peice of this puzzle we now know as the 2005 World Champion Chicago White Sox. We just don't have the financial resources that the Angels have. Time for KW to pull off some magic!! If he gets Pauly to stay god bless him, if he can't I completely understand. Overbay would be a great fit in our organization. But what would Milwaukee want in return? Probably Harris, a top prospect and one of our relievers.

I hope our payroll goes up to 90-91 million. But if it doesn't it means one of two things. 1. We don't re-sign Paulie 2. We re-sign Paulie but are forced to trade one of our stud pitchers. Our 2005 payroll was $69 million. After having the 3rd largest attendance in Comiskey Park history for the regular season. And collecting on all this revenue from the playoffs and the world series- there is NO reason why we shouldn't have a $85 million + payroll in '06!

Whats the deal with our rotation? I know Garland is arbitration eligable. But whats the story with El-duque? He signed a 2 year deal with us right? I would like him as one of our studs in the pen. Esspecially if Hermanson missed '06 with back troubles. KEEP THE PITCHING TOGETHER! BMac better be our 5th starter! Its that simple. McCarthy Bullpen: El-duque Cotts Marte Pollite Jenks Vizcaino Hermonson (if healthy) Starting Lineup: Pods CF Iguchi 2B Dye RF Konerko 1B (hopefully!!! : ) Thomas/ (lefty???) DH Rowand CF Pierzynski C Crede 3B Uribe SS Bench: (TEAM 4!!!) Harris INF Perez OF Widger C Ozuna INF Borchard and Anderson fight for the final spot in ST. Yep I'm not expecting many changes at all. Just contract extensions and a DH, and possibly another reliever. FOr those of you thinking "Why should we get a DH- we have Frank" Well if you go into the season with no backup DH, what happens if Frank gets hurt again? Believe me having 2 DH's is a nice luxory to have. But who is out there?

Wow its crazy. We just won a championship and we are already talking about 2006! Haha its okay its better to prepare to defend our title sooner than later! First I just want to say: Thank you Jurassic Carl- you had countless big hits in the first half of the year and had some big hits in the playoffs. He played a big role in our championship season! KW has to take the same approach in 2006 as he did in '05. He can't count on Frank being healthy all season. Therefor I would love to get another Lefty DH to share time with Frank. Ken Griffey? I doubt it. They will still be asking for the world. Overbay? Possibly, for the right price. Any other suggestions?

i'm pretty sure they don't officially charge your credit card unless the game is going to be played officially. Since we did it in 4- don't worry about it- your card wasn't charged. Keep that ticket, frame it, and put underneith it "These games were unessessary, we did it in 4!"

JR= Best owner in Chicago- its that simple! 6 Bulls Championships 1 White Sox title + many, many more! The McCaskeys are terrbile owners. Once Halas passed away the ruined the beloved organization. I won't even mention the Wirtz ownership of the Hawks- TERRIBLE! And the Tribune- well- lets just say its been 97 years. How can an organization accept losing for that long?

I would like to say that this was the most exciting offseason ever. We all got excited when KW started signing guys first Hermy, than Dye, than he made a balsy trade to aqcuire Pods and Vizcaino, than he signed El-duque and A.J. and right after Soxfest '05 he signed Iguchi capping off an amazing offseason. From that moment on I knew we really had something special. I knew we were loaded with pitching (Buerhle, Garcia, Contreras, El-duque, Garland, and young phenom McCarthy). I knew we finally had a true leadoff hitter in Pods, I knew we had much better defense (whole team), I knew we had a TRUE catcher in A.J., I knew we had an awesome bullpen, but when Takatsu made his farewell- along came BIG BAD Bobby Jenks! What a true team. No big names, just solid players. We have a true manager with much love for his White Sox. We he have a true G.M. that cares about winning! So many memories this season- I've gone to 10 regular season games and 1 playoff games- and they were the funnest times of my life. Watching this team do this in the playoffs was remarkable. I'm so proud to be a Sox fan. I'm so happy to be able to talk to you guys on Soxtalk about my favorite team in the entire world. We can hold our heads up high, we did it- we are world champions. Nobody can take that away from us. The best team in the world- your 2005 Chicago White Sox! 88 years in the making. But why wait another 88 years- LETS REPEAT BABY! With Ozzie and hopefully Pauly coming back why can't we be 2006 world champions? DONT STOP BELIEVING!! God Bless White Sox Nation! Lets enjoy this spring training!

Oswalt is by far our biggest challenge of the playoffs thus far. If we win tonite- the trophy is ours! BUT i'm not going to be super upset if we lose tonite either. Houston has an awesome home record. If Jon G can keep us within striking distance- i like our chances tonite!

I like that "Dont stop believing" song. It reminds me of that Family Guy episode. And I never really liked AC/DC's "Thunderstruck" until this year. And i'm sure you all know why Songs tend to grow on people for certain reasons. Its usually because it reminds them of awesome times! So don't feel ashaimed of liking Journey, if they make you happy- go with it! And GO SOX! GO get em Jon G!

How is Jon G's hitting capabilities? If anything hopefully Uribe can get on so Jon can bunt him over. Anyways if Jon can match his performance in the ALCS I like our chances. Our starters were awesome in the ALCS. If they can go 7+ solid in each game i'll be more than satisfied. We have a solid bullpen for a reason. Lets use them. LETS DO THIS!!! GAME TIME IS A BLINK AWaY. I LIVE FOR THIS!! GO SOX!!

I want to thank Minnesota's GM Terry Ryan and Oakland's GM Billy Beane. They taught Kenny Williams that it takes pitching, pitching, pitching, defense, speed and pitching to win. Kenny Williams stole a paige from their book and now we are 4 wins away from being the World Champions!!!!!!

You know how many times i asked myself: "Are we really in the world series!?" If this is a dream don't wake me up! NEVER! To make things sweeter its vs a team that has arguably the best pitcher of all time in Roger Clemens. Lets get it started!!! I LIVE FOR THIS!!

Did you guys here this story? They said it during game 3's telecast of the NLCS. Roger Clemens mother kept on saying "Shoeless Joe, Shoeless Joe, Shoeless Joe.." Before she past away. Is this a good omen or a bad omen?! Maybe she saw that Shoeless Joe's spirit will help the White Sox beat her son Roger in the world series? Whatever this means its creepy....

Can you say pitching, pitching and more pitching! Clemens, Oswalt and Pettite! It shall be challenging!
