Have you seen Contreras pitch in 2nd half of the season? Did you see him evolve into a perenial ace like the rest of us did? Enough said. He is our hottest pitcher. And comparing the Yankee version of Contreras to the White Sox version of him is like comparing apples and oranges. He is a very different pitcher now. We have been riding Contreras the whole 2nd half of the season- and the way i see it- why stop now?

Boo hoo Boston! Boo hoo New York!! Maybe if you guys would have beat the D-Rays and Toronto you wouldn't have to worry about making the playoffs. It looks like the Central shines in 2005.

Its official. If we win tommorow CSN just reported we win the Central division. BECAUSE even if Cleveland wins there final 4 games they will end up w/ a matching 96-66 record and SINCE the Yanks and Red Sox play each other also- it would be impossible for both AL East teams to match that 96 win mark. And since the White Sox own the head-to-head record (11-5) the White Sox would win the Central division and the Wild Card winner would go to Cleveland. So its official- our Magic # is 1 ! We win tommorow- we are the Central Division Champs!!!!!!! Woooohoooooooooooooo

Okay i'm not going to lie. I'm really f***ing excited. BUT.. I do realize that we made Robertson look really good, and we can do the same for Grilli. Freddy does good when we give him an early lead. The key to this game is for Freddy to avoid that BIG first inning. If that is accomplished- i like our chances. NOW LETS f***ING DO THIS THING!! GO SOX! GO D-RAYS!

We need a healthy Pods. A healthy Hermy, a consistent DH (#3 hole hitter), re-sign Pauly, trade Marte and El-duque for anything, we need a new hitting coach, a lefty reliever, need to have Bmac in the rotation full time, and a 3B with more power. I love Crede lately but this is his last season here.

A win tonite and a loss by either Boston or New York pretty much gauruntees a playoff spot. And my boy the 'losing streak' stopper Jose C. is on the bump!! If our offense gives him a 2-3 run lead- i like our chances
