the nationals just signed castilla this year and they are winning some games and fans are going to there games.... i dont think they want to get rid of one of their best players.... If we could get Chavez i would be prepared to lose anyone in the minors besides B-Mac... not because B-Mac is so untouchable but because he is our insurance if a starter goes down.... we cant have felix diaz/jon adkins/Josh stewart as our 5th starter if we expect to win. Also if they wanted Anderson or Sweeney make sure they only get 1 of the two... With Chavez our lineup would actually be one of the better ones in the AL and an upgrade defensively at 3B. We wouldnt be able to resign Konerko but He would be looking for 8-10 million too and i much rather spend that on Chavez... Podsenick Iguchi Rowand Frank Thomas Chavez Konerko Dye/Everett AJ Uribe although since it was an A's fan who made this rumor up.... i probably just wasted my time writing this :banghead
-
I personally think the lineup should go like this: LF: Scott Podsencik 2B: Tadahito Iguchi 1B: Derrick Lee 3B: Aramis Ramirez CF: Corey Patterson RF: Aaron Rowand C: AJ Pieryznski SS: Juan Uribe and if there is a DH put Frank in the 3 hole by moving everyone else down 1.

Mine has to be Billy Koch and Joe Borchard... those 2 made me sox fans
-
While it is just another series vs another team... It means a little bit more to me because if we win the series i can brag about it to the cubs and if we lose i have to listen to them.... bottom line playoffs is more important.... but bragging rights is important when most of your friends are cub followers.

Contreras and El Duque couldnt even of done that they probably walk a few.
-
I consider Anderson like B-Mac... you want to keep them down... but if Dye or one of our starting pitchers get injured those 2 should be the ones to take the job. Ill die if Timo Perez is our starting RF :puke
-
I would leave Patterson there and put Rowand in at RF... also I think you have to give the 4th starter to Zambrano.
-
Id say Frank is a first ballot HOF because he is a 2 time MVP and should be 3 time MVP and i think voters will consider that, also he should end up with 500 HR's.

This research is just plain dumb... im sorry but the color of your uniform doesnt make the team any better.

Herbert Perry?

I just wanted to clear something up............

although its commonly taken as Tie goes to the runner... I think umps usually give the benefit of the doubt to the defense... in most close plays you see the umps call an out rather than say the runner is safe. -
Jim Miller wasnt really on juice, it was some medicine or something like that that turned out to be illegal in the NFL..... as for Jabroni... unless its Ozuna he has something bad to say
-
Do you keep up with the white sox BHAM or just a fan of the AA team? If you do keep up with the sox does Owens remind you of Podsenick? Because it would be sick to have a younger Podsenick on the way up.

there are some hot softball chicks.... Basketball girls are the worse though... WNBA :puke

what does Baj have to do to deserve a call-up... i still dont know why Walker was sent up b4 him.... Im not even a really huge fan of the guy like some people but his era is getting to the point that he has to be called up.

Do the play any of these minor league games on TV... because i know that i would probably check out our AA team every so often and would watch the AAA team while Frank was there.... Only reason i ask is because they showed clips of Frank last night so it leads me to believe that they are on TV somewhere.

well if he has to play 3B just do what Mark did and only let 1 ball come towards his way Wasn't there a game earlier where Ross Gload played LF and if i remembered correctly only 1 ball was hit his way too.

QUOTE(Nokona @ May 18, 2005 -> 09:35 PM) Did Pods get picked off again? No caught stealing, Barajas gunned him down.
-
QUOTE(Jabroni @ May 18, 2005 -> 09:30 PM) The Mariners aren't going to trade their young pitching talent and no team is going to want an injured prospect anyways. we are trading Ben Davis or Jaimie Burke.... who cares if he is injured, most people come back stronger from TJS... and if not its not like we lost anything special.
-
So he is shortening his swing.... If he can make a major adjustment in double A he is going to be a stud with that power he has... 460 foot HR DAMN!
-
I wouldnt mind trading either of those guys for soriano... he injured now but could really help us once he returns...

I was so happy they walked Everett.... Honestly I like Uribe in that situation more than anyone else... love the way he swings the bat. Also Dye looked really good yesterday so not 2 surprising he has some hits today... hopefully he keeps it up than he wont be ripped so much and only person to complain about will be Konerko -
as much as we hate each other.... I think its a rivalry that the players respect each other... I know there was that little feud with Buehrle last year but overall its a heated rivalry that is mixed in with some respect.
