I guess Im the only one who liked Pierce Brosnan as Bond, imo he was able to be a badass but also capture the Bond charm like none other.
  2. QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 21, 2010 -> 09:41 PM) Scalabrine is a great bench contributor...by that, I mean he does a fantastic job of cheering. I like him being on this team. Redd Kerr would of loved the Scalabrine signing, he always seem to constantly bring him up during Celtics games.
  3. Another thing to note is this Dallas defense shutdown a Redskins offense that dominated today.
  4. Can we please stop playing the 2 deep shell or whatever Aikman calls it... gives Romo easy passes.
  5. Alright lets put some points on the board even if only a fg.
  6. Right you'd think after Forte failed on goaline they might give Chester a shot.... maybe next time.
  7. Our corners are getting abused, Tillman keeps slipping and Bowman getting beat... would be nice since they cant run at all we try to clean that up.
  8. QUOTE (IChaseBlackWood @ Sep 15, 2010 -> 03:05 PM) I'm not implying anything. I was just saying sometimes guys use their status to get out of tickets, get free drinks, get girls ...Chase never tells people what he does for a living. It's not on his FB under his employment section and he tries at all costs to avoid actually telling people when they ask ..so it irritates him when he's with people and they are all too excited to run around talking about "hey girl, I play baseball for the White Sox." ..that's not his thing. That definitely would be my thing lol, Id like to say Id be humble but in reality Id be telling everyone how awesome Im at in baseball haha. Now if I did have a gf I prob wouldnt flaunt it as much but maybe just a little still.
  9. QUOTE (WhiteSoxfan1986 @ Sep 12, 2010 -> 11:58 PM) I thought the season finale of entourage was great. I was really meh on it, the whole rising to the top and than drugs bringing him down is boring and completely uncreative.... Also the whole Ari thing is such bulls***... 2 women want to end his career in embarassment and both all of a sudden decide to do the right thing but yet both times it blows up in his face completely anyways.
  10. QUOTE (J.Reedfan8 @ Sep 11, 2010 -> 05:39 PM) I still can't believe it's getting to you. Makes me proud of NSS though for not caring anymore. (And BTW, show me those post besides me and another poster who had W-S as our best affiliate this season when most were picking the Knights, I'm still waiting) It doesnt get to me and I dont care to waste time searching, but even if true stop tooting your own horn so much it isnt a good quality.
  11. QUOTE (J.Reedfan8 @ Sep 10, 2010 -> 10:26 PM) And my Cinderella pick continues to thrive. They won again tonight. Have yourself a night Jon Gilmore. Cant believe you are still patting yourself on the back over something most thought was going to happen.
  12. QUOTE (scenario @ Sep 8, 2010 -> 11:03 AM) He's a September call-up. And not nearly as shady as Boston sending Dice-K down last year to pitch in A-league playoffs as a rehab assignment. Wasnt there a season the Indians had Hafner and someone else doing a rehab assignment during their AA playoffs or something.
  13. QUOTE (Tex @ Sep 7, 2010 -> 07:10 AM) They don't have to sue him, they would not have to pay him for not playing. If he is threatening to retire, which basically he is, the team does not have to pay him. For him to have to pay the team, wouldn't the team have to show some damages? I can't see the team suing him, forcing him to play. Now of course we are talking the contractual part of the equation. I wish more teams would just let the guy go. When both sides sign a contract, they hope they are getting a bargain. If the player sucks, the player is overpaid, and in a sense "wins" the negotiation. If the player does better than expected, the team wins. Accept the results and live with it. I agree in baseball and basketball, but in football when contracts arent guaranteed I definitely can see a players point of view on these things.
  14. QUOTE (Brian @ Sep 6, 2010 -> 10:47 AM) He and Boldin make for good targets for Flacco. If Flaccoo is consistent, that is a top 5 team. Not too mention Mason still can be productive as well. Flacco definitely has no reason not to be good this season.

QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Sep 4, 2010 -> 11:10 AM) Ben Affleck, bad actor/good director. Id say he just has made some poor choices in picking movies. I dont mind him an actor at all especially compared to some big hollywood stars.
  16. QUOTE (Brian @ Sep 4, 2010 -> 05:16 PM) 3rd round in NFL draft still holds quality players if right ones are selected. To be fair, everyone seemingly liked the pick at the time in terms of talent of player taken.
  17. QUOTE (chimpy2121 @ Sep 3, 2010 -> 08:42 PM) TJ Houshmandzadeh likely to be cut. I heard looking to trade but wont cut because owe him 7 million either way.
  18. QUOTE (Ozzie Ball @ Sep 3, 2010 -> 08:28 PM) I'm with fathom. I wouldn't be surprised at all if this system ranks #30. It's thin top to bottom. Part of it is because how Beckham and Sale flew through the minors though.
  19. QUOTE (JorgeFabregas @ Sep 3, 2010 -> 04:24 PM) I like this board much better, but there is a lot more open misogyny here. It's a lot more of a frat-house atmosphere. There's a reason that that board has several women who post there and this board has about 3. You know, as great as the women that post here are, I really dont care if they have 100 times as many because Im not posting to look for a date.

QUOTE (iamshack @ Sep 2, 2010 -> 12:32 PM) Would you? Why do you think it is that the incidence of heart failure and other chronic disease is so great here? Heart disease is a problem around the world, so meh on that.
  21. Not one of the super guru's but: Brent Morel, Infante, Flowers/Danks(kinda), some like Miguel Gonzalez, and thats it off top of my head besides the 2 you mentioned.
  22. we just have to hope the rangers help us out and make the best of our series vs them.
  23. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Sep 1, 2010 -> 09:00 AM) Yeah that whole scene seemed very unnatural and unlikely to occur in real life. My eyes were rolling the entire time. Agreed, you have a multi-billionare willing to invest in your company who has the power to market it all over the US and he was a complete dick to him? I hope Cuban buys the company now
  24. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Aug 30, 2010 -> 04:33 PM) Ha, so you see a possibility of the Bears being 6-10, but a 5-11 prediction is pessimistic? That is my absolute worse case scenario, I said 8-8 but nothing in NFL for sure.
