I have to agree the reason Jose has so many errors isn't that he's a bad defender. It's the fact that he gets lazy on the routine ones and loses his concentration.

I still don't get the excitment about Vizquel. I mean last year was his only decent year in four years. His defense isn't what it used to be. I'm sorry but I think a Uribe and Harris up the middle gives us better defense and both will Harris and Vizquel will hit the same .260 +. Plus if Harris can repeat that same .343 OBP in the 9 hole then I would be more then happy with it. Plus even with Willie being lost of the basepaths he still had the same number of stolen bases as Vizquel. Not only that he is still a bigger threat to score from 1st on a double. If we are going to bother getting a short stop at least get one with some potential to improve. He already is saying he doesn't want to lead off. I sense a bad attitude there. He should be willing to do whatever the teams wants him too.

I'm waiting for the one where Jed says democrats aren't allowed to vote "for the good of America." I mean I could see him doing this since it's less votes for him to have to shred.

No offense buddy but it would take a hell of alot more then trading Carlos Lee and Jon Adkins to get that lineup. More like giving away our entire offense and most of our prospects. Second we don't need Randy Johnson and Perez. Garland is almost a sure thing to give us 12 wins again.

Why the hate for Mark Grace? I admit I don't know what kind of an announcer he is but even though he was a cub he remains one of my favorite players from when I was a kid. He was just one of those hard working classy players that you just don't see much anymore.

As much as i'd like an "ace" I also don't want to be a fan of a team that has pitchers that give us quality starts every time out but we still lose because we have no consistant offense. I'd much rather have a solid #3 and a decent RF/CF and setup man then one "ace" pitcher. Then again if JR hits his head and increases the payroll to 100 million that would be cool too

Please if anything he's praying for a Bush win. Bush embodies everything he says is wrong with Americans. He's ignorant, stubborn, and refuses to admit any fault at all. He needs Bush to win to make other people hate us.

Your right I have no idea about the Polanco guy as i've never heard of him. I was talking about Vizquel mostly. Honestly in the last few years he has had one year better then Willie offensively and that was his contract year. I'm just afraid he has no more motivation to play anymore.

Neither. Sorry but both hurt us defensively. (You can't tell me either are going to come anywhere near Harris's range). Plus I honestly can't see either doing any better then Harris did this year. At least Harris's speed numbers have a shot at getting better. We can survive with Harris in the nine hole. Lets focus on getting Jason Kendell and a solid CF/RF.
