  1. I've seen this video like .gif files in the avatars. Does anyone know where I could find video of one of Willie Harris sweet turn and throw plays?
  2. I'm a left liberal. Apparently not wanting my civil liberties to be taken away makes me one.
  3. Because the more money you throw at a "difference maker" is less money then you can spend on getting average/above average players to fill your holes. The problem is that the gamble doesn't always pay off. Either the star gets hurt (04' Diamondbacks) or the star performs and no one around him is decent (think AROD in Texas). If you give me a choice between either one star or 3-4 average/above average talents to fill the holes then i'd take the 3-4 every time out.
  4. We have to remember Foulke would have been gone regardless. Plus JM being the terrible manager that he was made everyone around him that much worse just from being around him. I guaruntee you that if Foulke had stuck with us there is no way he is anywhere near as good now because JM would of totally f***ed him over and blew his confidence to s***.
  5. I think we can all agree the fences needs to be moved back. We need to become a pitchers park if we plan to build on pitching...
  6. But if ESPN doesn't suck of Jeter's dong, who will?
  7. I don't know if ghosts are real or not but that site is a scam to make money...
  8. When I was younger and played baseball I threw a sinker ball (more of a drop ball) and a knuckle ball and no one ever seemed to have a problem with it. Then again I doubt I ever broke any higher then 70 MPH with my strongest throw in my life. Then again I didn't pitch all that often. I usually played either SS or 2B.
  9. It's always nice to see people see though the lying, cheating, murdering, stealing son of a b****... :fyou BUSH!
  10. I think building a team on pitching is a moot point unless we can move the damn fences back, which is what we should do anyway.
  11. Beltran will be a Yankee or a Scrubbie if someone takes Soso. It's a shame too because he might never see a World Series if he joins either team. With the Yanks it's the AROD curse and with the Scrubbies you have plenty of excuses...I mean curses to choose from.
  12. I don't get how you can call them difference makes... I mean none of them do anything as one man shows. It's all about the team. I don't no about you but i'd rather have a whole team of average-above average talents (the twins) then a team with a few superstars and the rest be below average players.
  13. Sosa is stuck in Chicago. Then again if anyone could afford to pay someone all that money and keep them on the bench or in AAA it's the Yankees...
  14. If i'm not mistaken that debuted on the tonight show. Still funny!
  15. I picked the Cards weeks ago and i've got to stick with them.
  16. I'm so glad the Cardinals won just because I have been predicting it for weeks to anyone who would listen.
  17. I did that with my ex... The trick is to get her permission first...
  18. Sorry feel free to merge this then.
  19. I just don't see the point of investing in a 38 year old short stop who has no real motivation to really try to do anything with us. I don't want to see another Robbie Alomar. There are plenty of short stops I wouldn't mind seeing us get. Edgar Renteria, Rafael Furcal, Orlando Cabrera. All of these make us stronger at the top of the order. The problem is I don't see that with Omar. His best years are behind him.
