No way I make that deal for Trout who likely leaves us due to Free Agency. It might work in fantasy baseball 12 team leagues where it makes sense to load up on stars and scrubs, but I'd rather have a more complete team and I think Jim, Moncada, and Kopech are part of that.

Why do people think Harper will sign with the Phillies tomorrow? I don't think that's how it works. IF he gets an offer, he will surely do his due diligence and talk to the other teams to see if they can match or better the offer.

Just a FYI: There is absolutely no chance Harper goes back to the Nats. That ship has sailed. Please put it to rest. They would have to go way over the luxury tax for his services, have no ability to make further moves, and they already have a loaded team. Nothing to see there.

I've said it before many times, there's no chance that the Nationals are in on Harper. Just none. They made their respectful offer prior to the offseason to Harper as they should. With Harper wanting more, they had to move on with their stacked OF and they did so by filling holes. Every further move from them in regards to Harper is posturing to help Harper get a larger pay day. And personally -- If I was a Nats fan, I would want to move on from the Harper saga there. They haven't won much with him and could use a new style of play. Harper's better suited for a team like the Phillies or White Sox.

Absolutely. I had him on like 45 of my fantasy teams so I felt the pain. Yet, he still had 1.0 WAR, 21 Homers, a .305 OBP (shit, but that's typical Tim Anderson OBP), all while playing 2b. Perhaps his thinking is that he can recover and get his big contract next year, but this is just absurd. I would have loved Dozier to the Sox for 1 year 12 million even. Hell, I would have given him a 2 year contract, or even 3.

Absolutely Parkman. Dozier's deal is un-fucking-believable. 9 Million for a guy that's had the years he's had? Ridiculous. There's got to be some sort of balancing going on in the future.

Big changes are absolutely needed. I haven't spent too much time looking into it -- but it feels like Executives in the front office are pocketing more of the money and are using the young players who make next to nothing to field their team. MLB Players need to get paid significantly more for the years that they are valuable (younger years).
