I voted no because i think he can be really really dominate in the pen. Starting i think he would have an era around 5.00-5.50. If he started next year it would also mean we did not pick up a starting pitcher so we could just throw the year away anyway. I honestly think in a full year in the pen he would keep his era around 3.00-3.50 which would be solid.

But some people will say that you never know the amount of hits he might have had in the next 8 games. He may have had 0,1,2 or 8,10,12. But most people like to believe he would have only had 0,1,2,3 hits and ichiro would still have the record. Stupid i know but that is what some believe, it's not like anyone can honestly project what a player id gonna do over period of time. Since they could either get injured, get get really hot or really cold for long periods of time.
