QUOTE (Brian @ Oct 14, 2012 -> 12:13 AM) Without question. Still thought it was pretty clear Taylor was in on 2nd and goal.

QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Oct 13, 2012 -> 11:09 PM) That is clearly a touchdown. LOFL at that not being overturned. Refs at all levels are an absolute joke. The 4th quarter and overtime was as much of a joke as you'll see in college football.

He's clearly in on the 4th down play.

It sure looked like Taylor was in on 2nd and goal

QUOTE (Brian @ Oct 13, 2012 -> 11:55 PM) That was awful but didnt end up mattering much. If you want to take that two yards literally, it ended up costing them first and goal on the 1. Credit to ND though, they've made every play they've had to on 3rd downs the last quarter and OT.

QUOTE (Brian @ Oct 13, 2012 -> 10:40 PM) Shoulder to helmet is a personal foul? Shaw was livid. At least ND got to now go to their Criminal Formation. Seems like replacement refs are doing this game after that spotting of the ball earlier in the 4th quarter.

Why can no one catch the ball vs Notre Dame this year? They have the best dropped ball defense I've ever seen.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Oct 13, 2012 -> 06:04 PM) Serious question here. $100+m payroll with prices where they are now, or $75 million with cheaper parking and top end tickets? Higher payroll!!

Orioles insane decision not to hold on Teixeira might have cost them this game.

Tigers going to advance. Their pitching staff is pretty awesome right now. Hey, at least greg is happy.

Norris just handing the Tigers runs with his lazy defense.

Dusty managing a terrible game. He used Xavier Paul to ph there and he had to face a LHP. In his career, Paul has a .355 OPS vs LHP.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Oct 11, 2012 -> 07:40 PM) Someone tweeted today that Votto hasnt hit a homerun in 4 months. That is insane Yep, no strength in his legs ever since the injury.

Bye Reds. That's what you get for playing Rolen over Todd Frazier.

Overlooked part of that game is Smith is out by 20 feet at home more than likey if Garcia fielded that ball cleanly.

QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Oct 11, 2012 -> 04:42 PM) Um, what? He was out by 10 feet, regardless of what Cabrera was doing. BTW, if he would have blocked the base without the ball, it's obstruction. By the time Drew got to Cabrera and the base, Cabrera had the ball, so there's nothing there. The throw beat him by 10 feet, but if you watch closely, the ball started to come out of Cabrera's glove. In order to get possession of it again, he lifted his glove and Drew would have probably gotten his hand to the base before getting tagged if not for Cabrera literally blocking the entire front of the base.

It's hard to say you wouldn't root for the Bulls if they had certain players on the team after most of us grew up rooting for them when they had Dennis Rodman on them.

It was dumb for Drew to try to get to third with no outs, but he would have been safe if not for the stupid rule that you can block the base before you even catch the baseball.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Oct 10, 2012 -> 07:09 PM) I think the Strasburg Situation officially has mindf***ed the Nationals now. Good job Rizzo. Good job Boras. Yep, especially with their pitching choking so far, it's really going to make this a huge issue again. There was a report earlier today from a Nats player about how upset they are/were with the decision.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Oct 10, 2012 -> 06:25 PM) Jeff Weaver sez sup. To who, his brother? The biggest thing with Peavy is if the insane workload this year will have a negative impact on his arm next year.

QUOTE (2nd_city_saint787 @ Oct 8, 2012 -> 08:23 PM) Are there any good RH hitting catchers hitting the market that can be brought in to split time with Tyler? Lucroy or Maldonado from the Brew crew are targets if they wanna make a trade. If you're going to platoon Flowers, you need to get someone that can hit RHP.

How about the absolutely brutal decision in Game 3 of the World Series by Ozzie to bring in the injured, rusty Dustin Hermanson to face Jason Lane instead of Jenks? Lane doubled to tie up the score in the 8th and sent the game to extras.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Oct 7, 2012 -> 12:43 AM) Dorsett drops two sure touchdowns Can't make a difficult catch on another long pass.

QUOTE (greg775 @ Oct 6, 2012 -> 10:00 PM) I think you are right about coaches/managers. Then why do you give Ozzie so much credit for the 2005 season?

What did Cooper say about Danks?
