  1. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 07:20 PM) I'll emphatically disagree about Pau. Everyone else I'd say you can make a solid argument for but there's still a few I'd take Bosh over at this point. I think Gasol's great, and have even said that I'd take him over Howard.
  2. QUOTE (WHarris1 @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 07:19 PM) That's a fact, Toronto's missing of the playoffs this past year was embarrassing Chris Bosh should get a job in public relations when he's done, because I've never seen someone promote himself better than he has. He was able to get himself lumped into a "Big 3" category with 2 of the top 4 players in the world.
  3. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 07:19 PM) I love Soxtalk trying to talk itself into david f***ing lee being a better offensive player than chris bosh. Yep, cause who has actually said that?
  4. QUOTE (ZoomSlowik @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 08:15 PM) As for the Lee comment, he's only broken the 20 point plateau once despite having no other good scorers on that team. Toronto was 13th in pace this year and had another legit scorer in Bargnani and another okay one in Turkoglu (though he had a bad year). Bosh still averaged 24 a game this season. He's quite a bit better offensively than Lee. Isn't Lee a significantly better passer? I'm not saying Bosh isn't better than Lee on offense though, but Bosh reminds me of the type of guy who's just out there to get his points, and not worry how the team performs.
  5. I would love to see LeBron go to the Knicks. It would be interesting at least...a hell of a lot more entertaining than watching him in boring-ass Cleveland.
  6. For the person that said Bosh is a top 10 player, I give you these 10 without even having to think too hard about it: - Kobe - James - Wade - Howard - Gasol - Nash - Durant - D. Williams - Paul - Nowitzki For everyone saying Lee just gets his numbers cause the Knicks run and gun and play no defense, it's not like Toronto was a slow tempo team.
  7. Is LeBron going to be announcing from Vince McMahon's house?
  8. Hopefully Marquez is called up for long relief, and then sent down for Hudson to start on Sunday. Marquez better not be starting vs KC
  9. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 04:30 PM) How did they fail then? Did they make a mistake? Did they not trade to get max contracts? Everyone who loses here is a complete failure? The Heat and the Cavs if Bron goes there are the only front offices than deserve to keep their jobs? There was nothing the Bulls could have done to get any of the big 3. They did everything they could.
  10. QUOTE (MurcieOne @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 04:04 PM) Funny asshole I've said for a while that Chris Bosh is a total piece of s***. He's despised by the GT community, as he's basically the only guy out of the numerous pros they've had that acts too big to come back to Atlanta and help out, etc.
  11. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 03:33 PM) If you want a capsule of the emotional DNA of Soxtalk, check out the 50 posts after he walked off the field. 99.99999999 percent to I saw him say my elbow popped. He said something popped, they even repeated that on the radio this morning.
  12. Predict tomorrow's lineup: 7- Pierre 6- Ramirez 8- Rios 3- Konerko 9- Jones 0- Viciedo 2- Castro 5- Vizquel 4- Lillibomb
  13. QUOTE (BearSox @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 04:46 AM) THERE WE GO! Also, its guys like Paul McAnulty who give me hope for resurrecting my baseball career one day He's hit the ball once this year, and it was a homer.
  14. QUOTE (Pants Rowland @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 04:47 AM) He is right, though. I do not think either of them are gay. Plus, if they heard you alluding to their love for another man, they would open up the biggest can of whup-ass on you that you have ever seen. No, I think Ozzie would just say he's not a (derogatory term)
  15. Great win....VERY LONG GAME!
  16. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 04:42 AM) Yeah but nobody's gonna die if we somehow lose. Bobby has to be put in a save situation sometime. You take everything literally...aka, when we said Ozzie/KW love Andruw Jones, you said they're not gay.
  17. Play has to be made by Lillibotched DP
  18. QUOTE (WHarris1 @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 05:40 AM) I love the Bulls silence Would it be bad news if they brought in guys like Redick, Mason, Morrow for visits in the next 2 days?
  19. QUOTE (BearSox @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 04:40 AM) has bounced around from 3 different organizations as well, right? Great natural hitter, but he definitely needs to work on his plate discipline and BB:K ratio though if he wants to maintain success. He hits the ball harder than anyone I've seen in baseball this year...besides Lillibomb
  20. Rivera's been known to hit into a lot of double plays against closers.
  21. Zaidman going out on a limb with that Bosh/Wade Miami information.
  22. Who let the old man run on the field like that trying to run into Alexei?
  23. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 05:36 AM) I f***ing LOVE that team. Second favorite team personally of mine. CarGo is a fantastic player...budding superstar that hates to walk
  24. I actually think he'll pitch better from the stretch than the wind-up.
  25. Wow, Rockies just scored 9 in the bottom of the 9th to beat the Cards, who were leading by 6.
