  1. Wow, heck of a play all around!
  2. This strike zone is absolutely insane. Someone's going to get tossed. I f***ing hate Eric Cooper, that little piece of s***.
  3. Our righties gonna have to go with the pitch, and not be able to pull everything like they were able to against Kazmir.
  4. Wowsers, Garcia literally has to throw it down the plate to get a strike called.
  5. Very small strike zone, it would appear
  6. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jul 8, 2010 -> 02:24 AM) I thought you were saying I was a moron. Not at all.
  7. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jul 8, 2010 -> 03:20 AM) Yes you've proven your knowledge of baseball is so much greater than mine. You know it all. I already have given you credit for that. Congratulations on knowing so much more baseball than me. You don't know how long I played the game. You don't know s*** about my knowledge of the game compared to your esteemed knowledge. I never said anything about your knowledge. More about how "great" anyone is associated with the radio broadcast.
  8. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jul 8, 2010 -> 02:17 AM) Been listening to Rongey's show on the internet. Good stuff. He's so reasonable with many morons calling in. no comment
  9. QUOTE (hitlesswonder @ Jul 8, 2010 -> 01:52 AM) As a starting shooting guard? I don't know. He's the best long-range shooter in the league, but his defense and handle are pretty suspect. Still, they need someone who can create space for Rose and Morrow would do that.... 6th man off the bench would be his best role.
  10. Well, you all know I would love Anthony Morrow on the Bulls.
  11. Can we just get Nix back? Another home run tonight, and he owns Saunders.
  12. QUOTE (iamshack @ Jul 8, 2010 -> 01:04 AM) I feel pretty much the same way. It might even save Kenny from himself and prevent him from trading Hudson away. I just shudder at the wasted $... Completely agree that if Hudson ends up being a solid major league starter, this injury might have saved KW.
  13. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jul 8, 2010 -> 02:01 AM) It would confirm exactly what I think about the guy right now. If he goes to Miami or Chicago, you can argue he wants to win, if it is Cleveland, it is a home thing. Anywhere else is money. New York gets Curry's contract off the books after next season, and they'll be able to bring in another top FA. I think people are really underestimating how good the Knicks could be in two years if James goes there.
  14. Is it bad I'm really rooting for him to go to New York if he doesn't come here?
  15. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 09:28 PM) Q out. Wow, his knee still sore?
  16. QUOTE (BearSox @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 09:22 PM) I just hope its nothing that will effect his mechanics. The worse thing that can happen is him trying to overcompensate with his arm, and then we are headed down a spiral slope. Hopefully everything turns out good. I know from a players standpoint, you want to come back ASAP, but it might not be a bad idea just to say wait till next year, and take every precaution to get him at a full 100% for next season. We have too much money invested in him, we gotta take every precaution possible. Yep, hopefully everything is good to go for next year. It seems very unlikely he can recover, and then get arm strength built up, before the season is over.
  17. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 09:17 PM) No way. First of all, it was soreness that the pitcher himself said was like the kind any pitcher has regularly. Second, even if they did one, you have no idea if it was torn at that point, and if so, if it was even torn enough to see on an MRI. You are making a huge leap here. Peavy said he knew he had tweaked something in there his last start, and was going to try and pitch through it. The MRI would have likely shown more fluid in that area, etc. I'm not blaming the Sox at all, rather saying it's bad luck more than anything.
  18. Sounds like this could have been avoided if they did an MRI after the KC start, but because the MRI a week before that came back clean, they decided not to do another one. At this point, hopefully he's fine for 2011. What pitchers have come back from this injury in the past?
  19. Ace, I'm fine with this signing considering what was left. I hate his game, but you can't argue with his production or chest hair.
  20. We have to give Hudson a chance first to see what he can do.
  21. Looking like September at best for Peavy, but doesn't sound like he'll need surgery.
  22. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 08:09 PM) Surgery... You sure of this?
  23. I guess I shouldn't have made fun of anything Zumaya might have done to cause his freak injury.
  24. Season ender?
  25. More than any other source, if Jared Dudley said it's the Knicks, I believe him. He's one of the most "connected" players in the NBA.
