White Sox vs. Cubs, 6/24/07 (L)
QUOTE(WSoxMatt @ Jun 24, 2007 -> 08:49 PM) The problem I have is NO ONE held their arm out to signal the obstruction Well, I'll take the no arm signal we got from Doug Eddings over this situation. I would be a lot more pissed off about that play if we were winning or it was tied.

QUOTE(Brian @ Jun 24, 2007 -> 08:49 PM) But there was a play at the base. I don't know, f*** it. Entourage is on tonight. No there wasn't a play when the ball was near the right field fence.

Can we just never play Thome against a lefty anymore?

QUOTE(briguy27 @ Jun 24, 2007 -> 08:47 PM) For how fast Pods is, he makes sure he never makes a ground-out close He's not fast anymore....hasn't been for over two years.

QUOTE(Brian @ Jun 24, 2007 -> 08:46 PM) So you can't stand on the bag if you are a fielder? Not if there's not a play at that base.

QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Jun 24, 2007 -> 08:43 PM) That's why I don't know what the f*** fathom is talking about. Where is he saying Uribe touched somebody? It wasn't after he tagged out the guy at second and started the first rundown -- he got out of the way and pointed towards homeplate. No no, it was right when the ball hit the fence. It was well before the rundown. Hawk makes a good point about not letting the play continue.

QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Jun 24, 2007 -> 08:41 PM) Uribe never got in the way. I don't know where that was called. It's bulls***. I never saw the play around 2nd, so I can't comment on that.

QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Jun 24, 2007 -> 08:40 PM) Pagan can be safe. but the other 2 tards should be out. DeRosa can't be called out, cause he was never tagged out. Is it a dead ball when there's interference? If anything, I thought they might give Pagan another base.

QUOTE(TheBigHurt @ Jun 24, 2007 -> 08:38 PM) GO HAWK! GO OZZIE! Seriously, WHAT THE f*** IS THIS CRAP?! They ruled fielder interference. I know Pagan is definitely safe because of it.

Someone needs to turn Hawk's mic off.

I just hope we hit Soriano his next time up.

White Sox vs. Cubs, 6/24/07 (L)
Well...the Brewers just blew the lead....I'm not a happy camper.

White Sox vs. Cubs, 6/24/07 (L)
How hard is it to show the replay where they ruled fielder interference? It was obvious they called it right away.

I look forward to Hawk going apes*** in about a minute.

White Sox vs. Cubs, 6/24/07 (L)
Haha, there was fielder interference. We're not going to like this.

QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jun 24, 2007 -> 08:24 PM) That and Josh Fields uncanny ability to miss every fastball by 3-4 inches. They need a new timing mechanism for him. I'm not too upset with him so far, as at least the ball flies off of his bat.

Red Sox Interested in Buehrle?
QUOTE(quickman @ Jun 24, 2007 -> 08:22 PM) Look KW is just going to sit back for awhile and scout teams and find the best package he can. Might be a day might be a week or two weeks, but buerhle will go and it will be the start of a new era. I also believe there will be more trades after Buerhle. Dye for sure when he gets back from the DL. I for one am enjoying this Me too...if we were going to be bad this year, we should be thankful we're this bad, and not .500 bad. I just fear for some of my fellow posters, as they're going to be shocked at what the packages we get back are compared to their proposals. Between you and me, is JimH still alive after this season?

QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jun 24, 2007 -> 08:22 PM) I don't recall saying 2-0 is dumb to swing at, because it's a good pitch to hit most of the time. But to our hitters, a good pitch to hit is usually fouled off or popped up. 2-0 is the best pitch to hit....the hitters just suck this year.

QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jun 24, 2007 -> 08:21 PM) BOOOOOONE Would you agree that Logan's loogy ability might be the best thing we've seen from the team this year?

QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jun 24, 2007 -> 08:18 PM) 110 games in 04, 77 games in 06? And how many starts in LF, like 5?

Don't look now, but we're going to have a familiar person in CF.

QUOTE(kapkomet @ Jun 24, 2007 -> 08:14 PM) You're still on that s***? Wow. Dude, Ozzie could have done that 10,000 times and the injury wouldn't have happened. But now that it did, OZZIE MAKES THE f***ING LINEUPS OMG !#%!@!!!! Yikes. The reason I'm on that is because all offseason, we were talking about how much we sucked against LHP. We actually upgraded our roster to hit lefties, and then Ozzie made, which I believe, a stupid decision to try and get him an inning at a position he's not familiar with. We've been brutal against lefties this year...I had no idea Iguchi's lefty numbers had been as bad as it has this year. With the lefties in our division, we really need a new 2b/SS combo next year.

QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jun 24, 2007 -> 08:13 PM) My goodness. All you do is clump Ozzie and KW together all the time. None of it is Ozzie's fault. He's the one who said "Get Gload out of here and get me that tall flamethrower from the Royals." Come on fathom. What the heck is wrong with you? Nope, he's the one who never gave Gload a shot to prove what he can do as a leadoff hitter when Pods was horrible during the 2nd half last year. KW and Ozzie should be clumped together, as they're the two people making all the decision on and off the field.
