  1. They should definitely try a pitch-out early in this AB.
  2. Some more amazing contributions from our bench/DH spot. Please go find a LF/DH KW! He doesn't have to be a superstar....just someone who can hit .200 and maybe get an RBI every week.
  3. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ May 5, 2007 -> 09:44 PM) Hmm...that was damn close. God, Sweeney is the one young kid I really wanna see do well. I just hope people don't get down on him too fast. I can see how he doesn't hit for power....he doesn't clear his hips when he swings.
  4. Under .100 for our top offensive prospect! Kotchman wasn't on the base....bad call.
  5. More sad defense by the worst defensive 2nd baseman in the AL.
  6. QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ May 5, 2007 -> 09:33 PM) f*** the sanctimony. I wish we'd signed Bonds in the offseason. It would have been a perfect, perfect fit. Oh well, I can honestly understand why they wouldn't want to deal with the baggage.
  7. QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ May 5, 2007 -> 09:32 PM) Well, you and Tito both make your allegiances clear. BTW, how can you count the Sox as one of your favorite things to watch? They've been as bad as can be all year. I can't quite say I've enjoyed this season at all. Yes they've been bad, but I still don't miss a game.
  8. Oh great, we have the pitcher leading off next inning....I mean Cintron.
  9. QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ May 5, 2007 -> 09:30 PM) Do you hate him as much as you hate this team? That's funny, because my two favorite things to watch in baseball are the Sox and Bonds batting.
  10. Did Iguchi really expect a fastball there? What a bad approach on the 3-2 pitch.
  11. QUOTE(TitoMB345 @ May 5, 2007 -> 09:26 PM) Wow... I didn't realize how much AJ caught last year. Glad we made a move for a good backup this year. Too bad Ozzie decided he was first basemen. Now this I'll support!
  12. Iguchi has 3 swings this year that resulted in an RBI.
  13. QUOTE(SleepyWhiteSox @ May 5, 2007 -> 09:22 PM) Konerko is sooo slow!!! Hopefully he retires! Anyone else STUNNED that Lackey is shutting us down now? A tie game has never seemed like such an uphill battle.
  14. QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ May 5, 2007 -> 09:20 PM) To be fair, Dye is very very very slow. Of course he is....I was probably the first one pointing this out last year, in regards to how awful his defense was/is. However, there was nothing he could do on that deep fly ball by Chone. If anything, he did a great job of fielding the tough hop off the wall and holding him to a double.
  15. QUOTE(TitoMB345 @ May 5, 2007 -> 09:19 PM) Are you kidding me? The entire purpose of a 2-seamer is to drop. Break is usually used for curves/sliders. I'm just giving you a hard time.
  16. QUOTE(TitoMB345 @ May 5, 2007 -> 09:17 PM) His two-seamer isn't breaking. Come on Jon, get it together, god damn! How does a 2-seamer break? Hey Santo....when they talk about career stats against a pitcher, do they include postseason stats?
  17. That 90 mph fastball high and out over the plate isn't a very good pitch.
  18. QUOTE(TitoMB345 @ May 5, 2007 -> 09:15 PM) Dyyyyee iiiisssss slllllloooooowwwwww. Stop....learn how to pick your battles.
  19. Garland's throwing meatballs for the last two innings. We're so bad!
  20. And the 3 run early lead is going to be gone soon. For as good as our starters have been, they seem to do just enough to lose a lead.
  21. Good grief Dye....don't you know you're in a free agent year? I remember when he used to drive the ball to the opposite field. QUOTE(TitoMB345 @ May 5, 2007 -> 09:08 PM) Dye you f***ing blow. Please retire. Will you stop with the idiotic comments. There's no problems being negative....but some of the s*** you say is way too extreme.
  22. Nice to still have the lead. We better keep scoring, because they're not done. Warning track power. I'm stunned a Sox prospect hit .100 in his first 10 at-bats after getting called up.
  23. Nice catch by Dye....not exactly sure why we went first pitch fastball to him. Can we have the lead after this inning? Eric Karros went to the Hawk school of making excuses for pitchers.
