  1. No reason to reliate to that yet.
  2. QUOTE(Controlled Chaos @ May 26, 2007 -> 01:34 AM) He caught it in great position, but a decent slide would have helped. We just don't have a lot of agile guys. Thome's slide I can understand.....I'll never understand the pathetic effort that Ozuna had on that one slide though.
  3. Buehrle really made some nice pitches those last two batters. Something that's interesting is how much we shade Delmon Young up the middle (2nd base), even though he seems to do a lot of damage to the right side.
  4. Huge batter in this game....Delmon's made us his b**** early in his career. Keep trying to pick off Crawford.
  5. You could sense this coming after that bulls*** last inning. Do we teach our guys to just slide right into the catcher?
  6. Can't be walking him in that situation.
  7. Good grief are we f***ing slow. Tough inning brewing for Buehrle here.
  8. 0 for last 21 for Iguchi....might want to get him away from batting before Thome. QUOTE(Heads22 @ May 26, 2007 -> 01:23 AM) Go take an extended poop or something. The sad thing is I was away from the computer cause my fiancee had to go on theknot.com
  9. I step away from the computer, and Terrero hits an absolute bomb. Nice job by Buehrle getting us back in the dugout.
  10. We have the warning-track power bats out tonight. I thought Crede's was a no-doubter.
  11. Great stop by Erstad at 1b, and then a nice all-around play by the infield! Let's get some f***ing runs now.
  12. Another game where Buehrle looks like crap, and it's just a matter of time before they have a multiple run inning. Haha....nice outside fastball making it easy for Wiggington.
  13. Thought he got that ball. Shields looks like crap tonight....it's just our offense is even worse. It's like these guys look at the paper, and if they see the pitcher has a great ERA, they just have no confidence. Kinda like how Konerko said before yesterday's game that they weren't going to score a lot of runs.
  14. No surprise there....gotta shorten your swing up.
  15. QUOTE(caulfield12 @ May 26, 2007 -> 12:50 AM) Joe didn't have any explosiveness in his legs and back to make that throw...he's almost become an offensive AND defensive liability out there on the field. Not sure if he would have had Upton, but it would have been VERY close. That was a better throw than I anticipated....Crede at 100 pct doesn't make that play due to Upton's swing. Shields is putting that first pitch fastball right down the plate with no movement.
  16. It's been like 15 innings or so since we last scored. QUOTE(Heads22 @ May 26, 2007 -> 12:47 AM) we need a handful o runs I've never seen Buehrle go to so many 3 ball counts against a hitter.
  17. Pathetic at-bat by a pathetic player. QUOTE(caulfield12 @ May 26, 2007 -> 12:38 AM) 2003 will be the year of the missing 5th starter and Billy Koch, this might be the year of the missing LFer So it's the same as 2006? Meanwhile, Griffey Jr. is batting over .300 and hit another homer. Where would he play?
  18. QUOTE(caulfield12 @ May 26, 2007 -> 12:35 AM) When I saw Terrero and Mackowiak in the OF together, I knew we were in trouble...although Rob did make a nice play in the first inning, we've reverted back to our offensive stupor apparently, with the main difference being Thome now on base when we fail. We desperately need to acquire another outfielder, and give up on waiting for Pods to return.
  19. QUOTE(caulfield12 @ May 26, 2007 -> 12:33 AM) Benji Molina would have made it, anyone could have just stayed there and not even moved. It's sad to hear Hawk make excuses for the play. Crede got himself off-balanced. It seems like if our 3-4-5 can't contribute tonight, our offense will have no chance.
  20. Well done Gold Glover. Continuing your pathetic season.
  21. Buehrle struggling w/ his command.
  22. Jermaine had a great pitch to make it 3-0 on, but popped it up. Iguchi's back to being worthless.
  23. Nice defensive plays....but it looks like Mackowiak hyperextended something.
  24. Who the hell knows what Dukes will do if he's hit. However, if he does charge the mound, I don't like Buehrle's chances. Dukes is a crazy dude, and why even bother hitting him? It made no sense when we hit Delmon last year, and it makes no sense to do it right now.
  25. QUOTE(elrockinMT @ May 25, 2007 -> 09:11 PM) I think too much is made of the opposing pitcher (s). Our pitchers just have to go out and do their best job everytimer and not worry about whether it's a rookie facing someone like Santana, or another good one. That's true for everyone besides Santana and Sabathia. When we face those guys, the team seems defeated before they step on the field.
