  5. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Oct 4, 2005 -> 09:21 PM) Isn't Crede not on the shirt? I read that somewhere. You would be correct. There is no Crede.
  6. I must say the hats kick some serious ass, much better than the cream colored ones they had in 2000. The roster shirt was quite nice as well. Willie Harris is in fact listed on the shirt.
  7. Funny I got my hat, long sleeve shirt and roster shirt in the mail today.
  8. Peavy is out for the rest of the playoffs with a fractured rib. Doesn't know how it happened but he started feeling it around the 3rd inning, not that the Padres ever had a chance in this series but this just about eliminates them from the playoffs.
  9. QUOTE(Jordan4life_2005 @ Oct 4, 2005 -> 07:07 PM) How about Sutcliffe saying we had a great defensive outfield? And Piazza adding... "Yes, they cover a lot of ground..." *SILENCE* I also love Piazza saying that the Red Sox ran into a "hot offense" in the White Sox.
  10. I find it funny just how little baseball 'experts' know about the White Sox.
  11. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Oct 3, 2005 -> 09:52 PM) i won't be able to watch tomorrow, nor do i care, particularly There's more important things in life than a baseball game...
  12. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Oct 3, 2005 -> 08:30 PM) Of course they are...they love guys that can't play defense but score and get paid a lot. They're also ridiculously high on Ariza for whatever reason.
  13. My 3rd and last class of the day on T/TR ends at 12:05 so I should be good, no need to skip any classes.
  14. Appearantly Paxon will disclose the details tomorrow.
  15. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Oct 3, 2005 -> 07:18 PM) Hopefully we are getting all expiring contracts...or picks. Well, if he's headed to the Knicks you can bet we'll be getting a few expiring contracts.
  16. QUOTE(qwerty @ Oct 3, 2005 -> 06:35 PM) Graffanino would be our best hitter? Believe it or not the white sox have a couple better. Batting average and OBP are everything appearantly.
  17. Absolutely unbelievable college WR, shame he may never enjoy that kind of success at the next level. Injuries killed him his first 2 seasons now it appears he's going the Onterio Smith route. It really is a shame, he was a great college player.
  18. QUOTE(redandwhite @ Oct 3, 2005 -> 06:18 PM) There is no way that Graffanino wouldn't start on the White Sox. He would have the second highest on base percentage, the highest batting average without question, and a slugging percentage good for 3rd or 4th on the team. They would find a spot for him, there is just no way. Sheer offensive statistics are not everything.
  19. QUOTE(3E8 @ Oct 3, 2005 -> 11:38 AM) Rowand does get bad jumps. Remember that awesome catch he made on Belliard yesterday? That happened because his broke backwards first. His range isn't poor and how could anybody say Pods has a plus arm? Here's what you do; go to a game, when a ball is hit into the outfield immediatley look in Rowand's direction. I gaurantee that about 85-95% of the time you'll see him break to the direction of the ball. I have done this for all 14 games I went to this year and he has done this almost every time. Rowand gets some of the best jumps you'll ever see from an outfielder. The only problem he has with reading the ball off the bat is when it's hit right at him and the majority of the outfielders in baseball have the same problem.
