  1. is that Kotsay's first error of the year?
  2. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Sep 7, 2010 -> 06:48 PM) how the f*** does he swing at that? I don't get to see a lot of games but is Rios starting to act like 2nd half Rios of last year? I know he's not being that bad but not sure otherwise.
  3. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Sep 6, 2010 -> 07:45 PM) I figure at this point, watching what the Twins are doing as well as watching the wild card is appropriate. Tampa Bay 83-53 Chicago White Sox 77-60 (6.5 games back) Boston Red Sox 76-61 (7.5 games back) Toronto Blue Jays 71-66 (12.5 games back) at this moment the Red Sox are winning 6-2 over the Rays in Boston. http://scores.espn.go.com/mlb/boxscore?gam...-boston-red-sox Good idea. It's almost sad thinking we might have a better chance at the Wild Card. Tampa Bay has the following schedule: 3 @ Boston 3 vs New York 3 vs Los Angeles 4 @ New York 3 vs Seattle 3 vs Baltimore 4 @ Kansas City The last 10 games shouldn't be too hard for them but the first 13 could give them some difficulties.
  4. Don't think we have a chance at the Wild Card but Tampa Bay is losing 6-2 to the Red Sox right now.
  5. 8 of their last 9 games have been decided by 1 run and the Twins are 6-2 in those games.
  6. haha he was safe though. The Twins announcers are complaining about a long list of calls going against the Twins lately.
  7. Beautiful throw from Blanco to get the double play.
  8. Alex Gordon just gave Span 2 extra bases by letting the ball get passed him.
  9. QUOTE (chiguy79 @ Sep 6, 2010 -> 03:23 PM) Garcia vs. Verlander tomorrow is going to be tough...need the royals to get hot! Which makes this game a huge win. Hopefully Garcia can come out strong tomorrow.
  10. QUOTE (chiguy79 @ Sep 6, 2010 -> 03:21 PM) I will take a little help, we killed ourselves against the Royals, O's and giving up games to the Twins. We also lost somewhere around 8 games to the Indians early in the year. That'll come back to haunt us potentially.
  11. QUOTE (T R U @ Sep 6, 2010 -> 03:14 PM) Twins: 35-19 vs the AL Central Sox: 28-29 vs the AL Central Its a shame that that's whats killing us right now.. but the series against Minnesota is more than likely going to be the division and im feeling good about it.. The Twins are 35-19 in the AL Central and 23-10 in the AL West posting a 58-29 record in both divisions or a .667 winning percentage. They were only 8-10 in interleague and 14-18 against the AL East. Unfortunately they only have 4 more games with the AL East which are against the Blue Jays. 18 left against the AL Central and 3 against the AL West.
  12. I'd like Manny batting 3rd as well.
  13. they just scored 2 in the 6th. now down 5-4.
  14. QUOTE (mcgrad70 @ Sep 6, 2010 -> 03:06 PM) Everybody seems to be missing the point about Thome. The Sox left them out there for their only obstacle to the post-season to grab him. Didn't matter how much Ozzie was going to use him or not. That's why I'm angry at Kenny for not taking charged I got the point, I wanted him on the team, but it didn't happen. And he hasn't lost his power one bit.
  15. QUOTE (ScottyDo @ Sep 6, 2010 -> 03:05 PM) haha i love sale's gameday picture it's a great one. I hope it's on a baseball card.
  16. QUOTE (ScottyDo @ Sep 6, 2010 -> 03:05 PM) haha i love sale's gameday picture it's a great one. I hope it's on a baseball card.
  17. QUOTE (TitoMB @ Sep 6, 2010 -> 03:02 PM) How the f*** does Jim Thome have 2 triples?!?!?! lol Target Field is a big field? I don't know?
