I agree with you. It's hard to see Carlos go. But if the Sox can sign a pitcher or a middle infielder because of this trade, then it's hard to me to say it, but it'd be a good trade. Carlos Lee has been one of my favorite players on the Sox ever since I started liking them which was in 1993. I hope Scott P can help Willie on the base paths though.

I do thank Ordonez for his years in Chicago and I do think that was nice of him to thank the Sox fans, and I guess I do somewhat agree that the Sox were trying to push the media to their side. But regarldless, there were faults on both sides and they couldn't reach an agreement. It's too bad that he won't be playing for the White Sox anymore.

The problem is that Malone backed Bryant all of last year. No one knows what went on in the clubhouse, but I can assure you that Malone was behind Bryant's problems 100%. I have come to 2 conclusions about Bryant's comments. 1. He feels betrayed by Bryant because after sticking up for him, he goes on and talks about Malone not being there. or 2. He's looking for an excuse to get out of L.A. Even though he said he'd come back to the Lakers, he may have changed his mind and this is the perfect way to get out. Either way, I don't blame Malone at all. Sure he's 41, but he's in better shape than 90% of the players and has a harder work ethic than anyone I've ever seen play. As far as him having an ego, I think it's toned down a bit. It's not like it was when he was in Utah.

How are they going to improve their defense if 3 players may make up 1/3 of their salary? I guess I'm one of the guys that says defense wins championships no matter how good an offense is. We'll see this year though, but I'm predicting the Colts won't win any championships if they don't improve that defense.

Amen, I can't stand them. They think they're so much better than any other school, they won't sign any JUCO players either. Just join the Big East, they're not that good, you can get to the BCS game that way.

I'm surprised Tate won it. But when I look back at the Big Ten, the biggest name was Kyle Orton for a while and he fizzled out. I would've liked to see Braylon Edwards win it though.

People can say boo all they want, but chances are if you're at the game you will cheer. And obviously if it's in San Francisco you'll cheer. I personally can't say what I'd do because I'd have to be there.

I'll be really happy if Radke and Koskie don't sign. Not that it sounds like it's happening, but the Sox signing Radke would be a slap in the face to Minnesota, I'd laugh.

I honestly don't think Barry cares about what Hank Aaron thinks. Not that Aaron would've done steriods, but it would be interesting to see what players what've used them in the 70's had they been there.

I think Johnson is pretty sold on going to the Yankees. But yeah, it never thought he'd be coming here anyways.

If we do get Rentaria I would hope we'd keep Harris anyways.
