  1. I couldn't care if Alexei sodomized a blow up doll while waving I love Castro flags. Play him over the bumbler. It's September in a pennant race.
  2. QUOTE (Cerbaho-WG @ Sep 9, 2012 -> 04:18 PM) fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck This inning should of never happened. However we decided to start a bumbler who decided to take a stroll to first during a playoff push. Hopefully the manager learning on the job gets better in the long haul.
  3. Mr stroll down to first and enjoy the view just cost us winning right there.
  4. QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 9, 2012 -> 01:24 PM) I can't believe they are batting him 2nd We seem to lack basic common sense when creating the lineup sheet. To win this division we will need to overcome bumbling.
  5. QUOTE (sunofgold @ Sep 7, 2012 -> 10:19 PM) Tough loss but we are still either tied for first or game up tomorrow. Not having Youk And Dunn in lineup makes it harder. Pitching and clutch hitting just wasn't there today. Hopefully We win tomorrow. Batting lopez second makes it harder. Letting him hit with thr bases loaded is stupid.
  6. QUOTE (RZZZA @ Sep 7, 2012 -> 10:12 PM) I blame the green uniforms I blame the green manager.
  7. QUOTE (bucket-of-suck @ Sep 7, 2012 -> 09:50 PM) RV thinks he has to slot only 3B in the two hole, LOL. Hopefully in year 2 of managing he will get better.
  8. QUOTE (Noonskadoodle @ Sep 7, 2012 -> 08:36 PM) WISE FOR MVP!!!!!! We found Mendozas kryptonite Lefties are his kryptonite.
  9. Cy Chen. Nice to see that Hawk has found another team that we can lose to before we take the field.
  10. QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 7, 2012 -> 08:05 PM) Sox right handed hitters seem to be so fooled by Mendoza throwing that offspeed pitch to the outer half. Lefties seem to be all over him tonight. Our guys have no plan. They just hack away at whatever they think is somewhere near the plate. When the ball moves, they get confused.
  11. Leadoff triple....then stupidity and we score no runs.
  12. QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 7, 2012 -> 07:47 PM) So why is Jose Lopez batting 2nd, especially against a righty? Thankfully they face a LHP tomorrow so Ventura won't have to think about whether or not to keep playing Viciedo. The Ozzie Guillen rule of managing. X player plays x position so the replacement player takes his exact spot in the lineup. Remeber Wise hitting 3rd.
  13. QUOTE (RZZZA @ Sep 7, 2012 -> 07:47 PM) I still don't understand why we're wearing green uniforms...? Half way to St Patricks day marketing BS.
  14. It seems that the Royals scout and prepare for our team better than we do for theirs. Repeatable failure against the same pitchers. Repeatable mistakes against certain hitters.
  15. QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 5, 2012 -> 08:39 PM) If this is true, who here thinks the Sox can keep their focus and finish the season strong? Something that does hurt if he's out is having to make Flowers face 3 or 4 very tough righties against the Tigers next week. The pitchers like Flowers as a receiver and calling pitches behind the plate. His defense is pretty good and has some pop in his bat. I think with regular ABs he can start to get better. He is no where near what AJ is. But here is another though. Maybe the way the sox have played in the last week or so is playing tight knowing that this was coming down.
  16. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Sep 5, 2012 -> 02:06 PM) https://www.torproject.org/projects/torbrowser.html.en install on firefox. browse anything. laugh. More and more firewalls are becoming app aware and these little tunneling tricks don't work all the time.
  17. QUOTE (kitekrazy @ Sep 3, 2012 -> 08:52 PM) I guess Vic doesn't like the ball in the strike zone. http://www.hittingworld.com/Conquering_the...ball_p/art5.htm
  18. Our hitters act like thy have no clue what a breaking pitch looks like. Throw it in the opposing batters box and watch them flail. I feel like I am watching the Valentin lead sox post asb with our hitting.
  19. Ok I can understand not hitting against 2 of the 3 pitchers we faced this previous weekend. How we have not scored more than 6 runs against this pitcher is a travesty.
  20. QUOTE (Cerbaho-WG @ Sep 3, 2012 -> 07:38 PM) I know Konerko's slow, but he wasn't even trying on the bases there. He is in Paully pity mode. Where he changes things 30 times a week, shoulder shrugs, and has the woe is me thing.
  21. The next time one of our guys beats valverde I hope they act like a complete cock as they round the bases pointing at him.
  22. Anytime Konerko wants to join the team and start hitting again we would welcome it.
  23. QUOTE (kitekrazy @ Sep 2, 2012 -> 09:42 PM) Cooper can be fallible. How long did it take for them to figure out Tony Pena sucked? Kenny has a particular hard on for this type of pitcher. We have had two of his clones on his team picked up by Kenny.
  24. QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 2, 2012 -> 09:36 PM) Why don't they show Kenny now? He is trying to figure out why his formula doesn't seem to work. His build a player character on his Xbox is 25-3 with a 1.34 era and a .86 whip and is hitting.345 with 42homers and a 1.100 ops.
  25. QUOTE (greg775 @ Sep 2, 2012 -> 09:27 PM) Still u fail to recognize the big picture. Losing 6 in a row in Detroit is choking. I mean even horrible baseball teams can win one or two of the six. I look at these three as a major choke. You can't get one win?? Even the Astros could get one. Our play against the weak teams this year. The NL record considering we faced a horrid NL central. This is what has caused us more problems.
