Ventura needs to figure out that Rios should be our 3 hole hitter before the point in the season that Guillen figured it out with Dye in 2005.

I chalk this up to our players making the Royals into the Twins. Put a Yankee uni on these guys and we destroy them. Now we have had two days of the broadcast team talking about how hard they are to beat. Not really. It's just another mental hurdle we need to overcome.

I am sure that Bruce Chen And his band of merry friends will ace the tigers and their hitters when they face them.

Pitch selection there was the issue. No reason to keep pumping fastballs in there with 2 strikes.
