I wore pretty thick glasses in HS, so when I first swithced to contacts, I thought I was in heaven. Now, many years later, they are totally uncomfortable. I'm not sure if you guys have days where they dry up all the time to the point of almost popping out and no matter how many times you re wet them, 10 mins. later they're dry again. I have those days maybe 3 out of 7 days. I think after years and years of wearing them, you're eyes just can't handle them any more. I know a lot of people over age of 30 who switched back to glasses. Unfortunately, I have to wear contacts all day, unless I'm staying in the house. I LOVE wearing my glasses now. But trust me, you wouldn't wear my glasses outside of the house either.

Hell yeah. 'The Way of the Gun' says it all.

I wouldn't worry so much about cost as much as getting a reputable place. SO many places are doing it now and a lot are just chop shops trying outbid the others for business. I think the $1,200 per eye range is about right. One more thing to add, the funny thing about Lasik is that it cannot be done on the people who need it most. I have HORRIBLE vision (-10.00 prescription on my contacts) and numerous places told me that I would still need to wear glasses and contacts after the procedure. There is a limit to what they can accomplish. A friend of mine, also with horrible vision, had it done and she still had to wear glasses afterward and her vision seems to be digressing again. Often times 'touch ups' are required. Be careful, if you're not comfortable, don't do it at all.

Has anyone see the footage of this yet? He lofted the ball into the seats and the fan who got hit was taken out on a stretcher. He looked pretty dazed and confused. Puh-Leeze. AC/DC: "Shook Me All Night Long". I could listen to first 20 seconds of that song for hours and hours, just the drums and that killer riff. THAT, my friends is rock n roll. Too bad it's also a College bar anthem.
